Longchamp Les Planètes Tote Bag in Black

The entire content of this entry has been transferred in my new blog, xoxo MrsMartinez

Lately, my email was swamped with requests for Longchamp Les Planètes feature. Since I don't own any Longchamp shopping bag, I did the next best thing---> borrow one from my good friend, Cats ; p She purchased her tote bag last January 2012 in Sogo Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong for HK$ 990.

*Longchamp Planètes Shopping Tote with Long Handle in black HK$ 990 (US$ 155)

With more than a passing resemblance to Pliage®, the Planètes line is distinguished by its structured form, thick fabric trimmed with full-grain cowhide and its satiny feel. Handbag, tote or hobo bag... choose it this season in its new ebony color -SOURCE

Dimensions :

  • 10x10x5½ inch (25x25x14 cm)

Description:

  • 1 main compartment with zipper opening
  • interior: One flat pocket on front

Recommendation: To remove any stains, simply brush softly.

Care: To maintain your product, apply with a soft brush Longchamp colorless cream regularly to leather areas.

*In the photo, notice that Longchamps' long handles easily fall on the sides of the bag. Les Planètes tote handbags are not foldable unlike the Les Pliages.

I am not an expert and I don't authenticate fake from real Longchamp Les Planètes tote bags. Please buy only from Longchamp boutiques.

I hope that by showing these photos, it can help you with your purchase of a new bag. I know my photos are awesome but please do not steal them ; p Last thing I want to see is a fake reseller with my real Longchamp photos... what a loser and an asshole!

Bag Review: Kathy Van Zeeland Postman Travel Shopper

I first encountered the brand, Kathy Van Zeeland, when DH and I visited my cousin who lives in Boston, Ma. I can't remember if I saw it in Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Anyway, I shudder at the thought of buying it. For one, I was not yet into buying expensive handbags. Second, I was not really sure if it's a well known brand.

I relayed to my cousin about my shopping dilemma. From her, I learned that it is a pretty well-known brand. Sadly, I was not able to go back because it was already our last day in Boston. Fast forward to 2011, she emailed me that she was able to buy not just one but two bags from the designer brand. She emailed both pics and asked me to choose one. She said that she will include it in her next package that will be shipped to the Philippines.

I already showed you a sneak peek of my new Tod's D-Styling Bauletto Mini. Now, it is time to show you the details so you will know how to spot a fake Tod's from an original.

 unboxing Tod's D-Styling Bauletto

It's been almost a week now since I bought this bag. So far, I don't have any major complaints. I like the color and the overall look. I particularly love the quality of the leather, it is so soft to touch. The bag smells really nice too.

Remember when I went to Hong Kong last year? I was supposed to buy Louis Vuitton Eva clutch bag but then DH suggested Tivoli GM instead. I saw the tote bag on the shelf screaming my name hahaha Talk about being a shopaholic! Ok, just kidding ; p

After carrying my Tivoli GM for almost a year and several visits to the spa for back pains later, I am determined to find a small bag. And here she is...

Before I settled for this one, we scoured around Central in Hong Kong and Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui for 2 straight days. We went inside every store that sells a designer bag before I decided on this one.
