As usual, we finalized and booked our Hong Kong trip at the very last minute. We booked through Agoda on a Monday (July 25) and our flight was scheduled Sunday (July 31) of the same week. How's that for another sweet surprise?!

Orange facade of Wifi Hotel

Wifi Boutique Hotel (Hong Kong), a three star hotel, is conveniently situated in the heart of Wan Chai- Lockhart Road. What sealed the deal was the complementary wifi access in each room ; p

The night before, DH studied the map going to our hotel. We rode bus E11 and only paid HK$21 for  each person for a single trip from the airport to the hotel. The ride is approximately one hour. We got off from the bus and walked one block from Tonnochy Rd. corner Hennessy Rd. to our hotel.

If you want to take a bus but wanted a faster time to get to Hong Kong Island, take bus A11. It costs HK$40 and it will get you to Hong Kong Island proper in just 35 minutes.

When searching for this hotel, it helps to look for the orange building. A narrow path with Wifi Hotel sign on your right will lead you to a small reception area.

We were greeted by a male receptionist who can speak english well. DH said that I should converse with him in Chinese language, Mandarin, as he read this will give us a better accommodation. He was right!

Waiting for elevators can be such a drag.

only 3 rooms on 19th floor

Wifi Hotel is a very tall and narrow hotel. I don't know about other floors but our floor has only 3 rooms. We basically had a pleasant stay except for one night when the other room next door was occupied. It tends to be noisy because we can hear the sound of shower through the wall panel. It was a good thing that the people occupied it for only a night.

Executive Room 1903

We booked a Superior room through Agoda and paid $353.48 (PhP15, 519.43) for a 4 days/ 3 nights accommodation. That's still a steep price at $117.83 (PhP5,173.14) a night.

twin beds

Instead of giving us a superior room, we were upgraded to the executive floors (15th-19th floor).

Executive room is described as designed especially for those who are traveling to Hong Kong for business. Our rooms bring joy and comfort to the weary traveler who are looking forward to unwind at the end of their day.

We got a twin bed. Since the concierge could not transfer us to a room with double bed because apparently, we forgot to include it in our specification during our booking. I just shifted the side table to the other side and move the beds together so that they are side by side ; p Simple solution to a simple problem lol
