I couldn't resist an invite to cover an event for Samsung especially when I learned that my favorite socialite, Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdes will be there ; ) It was already past 12 noon when she came out but everybody was just so happy to see her. She is really funny when she's on stage.

I always like attending Samsung events because the people behind the brand always put all their efforts to come up with exciting presentations even before the actual launch begins. Some time ago, I was invited by the owner of Beyond the Box to the launching of its store in Resorts World. It was a Friday night and naturally, we were caught in heavy traffic. Half way through the program, we finally found our way to the venue.

DH was hungry so after registering our names on the guest list, we ate in one of the cafes situated near the venue.

The photo above with Tessa Prieto Valdes was taken right after the program before she left the venue. As usual, she was gracious. I love her color blocking outfit as well as her hat!

The invite to attend Jewelmer's Fete de la Femme, a high tea event, was very timely. If you have been reading my blog and an FB page liker, you know that I am an avid fan of Jewelmer. In fact, I am a proud owner of a pair of golden South Sea pearl studs. I am now in the midst of finding a perfect ring to go with it.

The event launched Jewelmer's Recordi Presiozi and Tutti Frutti collections. It started a bit late so I had a lot of time to take pictures of the pearls showcased in the far end section of the venue. The ring above got my attention because of its intricate design. Darn! I should have tried it on the spot. I wonder how much it cost. *sheepish grin*

I normally decline events on Mondays and Thursdays due to the number coding on cars imposed by MMDA. But Franco was persistent. He went out of his way to have a driver and a van to pick me up just so I can attend the event. So how can I say no, di ba? 

The driver knew where he was going so I was able to attend the event on the dot. It was held at the luxurious Midas Hotel and casino. It was a shame that I was not able to take photos of the lobby because upon alighting the van, I was quickly ushered to a red carpet leading to an elevator going up to the penthouse. 

During the event, there I was, the only one who attended the New CLEAR Total 3 with Nutrium 10 launching in my bright colored summer wear amongst the sea of black outfits. Eeep! Even Tessa was in black! Darn, I misunderstood the dress code, Clubwear Glam, as outfits you would wear in a country club haha Eeer, sign of generation gap toink!
