Pharmaton and the wonders of Ginseng

Ginseng, according to the dictionary, is a plant tuber credited with various tonic and medicinal properties, esp. in the Far East. Ginseng G115, a standardized form of ginseng is proven to energized both mind and body.  I know ginseng, a natural herb extract,  have been used by my grandfather. He used to formulate Chinese traditional medicine when he was still alive. He operated a small Chinese drug store and used different herbs to treat different ailments.

Ester- C

 Ester-C the better Vitamin C

I am acidic. I have a hard time taking in ascorbic acid. I usually suffer from stomach pain when I am taking it for a long time. With my research, I found out about Ester- C.  Too bad, I think it's not available in this country.

Cough Remedy: Xue Li Pei Pa Koa

DH has been taking Xue Li Pei Pa Koa bough in a local Chinese convenience store. He has finished two bottles since his cough started a few weeks ago. He got the cough from me last December and he did not stop coughing since then. I, on the other hand, refuse to take any cough tablet, capsule or syrup. I just took Ester- C 3x a day and drink lots of water. I got well. Meanwhile, DH is still coughing. I have now officially put him on vitamin C 3x a day. Hope he gets well soon.

Vitamins everyday!

I have been conscious about being healthy and thus taking vitamins everyday became sort of a habit for me. With my growing age comes the need for more vitamins supplement lol It was DH who suggested that I put my growing vitamin supplements in a pill box.

Ang dami noh pero hindi ko naman sabay sabay iniinom lahat. I usually have 2-3 after breakfast, 2-3 after lunch and merienda haha
