Kaya Express Opens In Glorietta 2

April 21, 2013

Kaya Korean Restaurant
2nd floor, Glorietta 2
Ayala Center, Makati City
6253718

My parents and I bonded over Korean BBQ right after watching ASAP 18 LIVE! in ABS-CBN. It is located in the newly renovated Glorietta 2. I love the vibe of this new wing- bright and spacious!

 Kalbi Gui PhP 230

Marinated US beef short ribs

Before the Korean BBQ trend hit Manila, there's already Kaya. Every so often we miss eating Kalbi Gui so we make it a point to visit it once in a while.

The beef is tender and already marinated. It's juicy, perfect with a bowl of white rice!

Cooked A Half Inch Steak for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

Every since we got stuck in stupid traffic a few years ago, we promised not to go out every February 14 but that does not mean that our dinner will be boring like tonight ; )

1/2 inch Angus Rib-Eye Steak

I cooked us an Angus Rib-Eye Steak for dinner... yummy!

Wanna know how I prepared and cooked it? Read after the break...

Greenwich Ultimate Green Card & Crispy Glazed Chicken

July 26, 2012

Function Room B
Megatrade Hall
Building B, SM Megamall

This post is about letting you know why Greenwich is better than any other. Greenwich, the Philippines' leading pizza chain, came up with 3 good reasons - Greenwich Special Overload Pizza, Greenwich Ultimate Green Card and lastly, Greenwich Crispy Glazed Chicken. All these were introduced to us during the media event held in SM Megatrade Hall last Thursday.

Greenwich Ultimate Green Card PhP 199

While waiting for the program to begin, I get to taste my favorite Greenwich pizza & pasta with a glass of iced tea ; ) In between bites of pizza & pasta, I learned that the DJs of Magic 89.9 will host the show. Boy, I was so excited to meet the voices behind Boys' Night Out (BNO) - DJ Slick Rick, Tony Toni and Sam YG!

For my male readers, don't fret because all 4 radio vixens of Magic 89.9 also graced the event.

Mak's Noodle and Tsukiji Japanese Restaurant in Hong Kong

My visit: July 31, 2011

Mak's Noodle
Wellington Street, Central
Hong Kong

During our recent trip to Hong Kong, our time is divided between shopping and dining but more on the former though. We came across this tiny noodle house just because we veered away from an expensive looking restaurant right across the street.

shrimp wonton HK$32

I was shocked because this tiny noodle house has been visited by Anthony Bourdain. Apparently, he ate here awhile back. This is the second restaurant that I have eaten with Anthony Bourdain article, his photo and his "seal of approval".  The first restaurant that I have eaten with his photo on the wall was Bale Dutung. His photo was on the table this time just beside the menu.
