We didn't go out of the country last December, we explored one of the 7,107 islands in the Philippines instead. We visited Caramoan Island which I will be blogging very soon but first let me take you on tour to my DH's hometown in Daet, Camarines Norte.

There's a very famous beach in Daet called Bagasbas and the only standing resort is Bagasbas Lighthouse where we had our breakfast a day after arriving in Daet, Camarines Norte.

We decided to have our breakfast at Catherine's. We don't have any other options because it's the only decent place that is open and decent.

All breakfast meals come with cup of coffee (not brewed). At that time, most of the items on their menu was out of stock, we ordered whatever was available. Prices were reasonable, the food was so-so, nothing to rave about but enough to fill hungry stomachs.

After our hefty breakfast, we drove to Bagasbas Beach. It was windy and cold... brrrrrrr!

Before we left the beach, I spotted a man kite surfing, my camera caught him in action.
Overall, we had a nice time staying overnight in Daet. I will post about
Hotel Formosa- the hotel we stayed in my next entry. This will be a series of posts so you can take note of what we did for future reference.
