Hello! Happy Monday everyone!

Starting this month and every month thereafter, I will feature beauty products that I love to use. Some of the products were bought during my trips abroad. Although some of the products highlighted are given to me by companies and PR Agencies, rest assured that these have my stamp of approval.

I have sensitive skin and because of that I have carefully chosen this first batch of beauty products. Each product has passed my sensitive skin test meaning I didn't get rashes or red patches while using it.

Celebrating Birthday Pinoy Henyo Style 2011

The celebration lasted for a month! I am finally down to my last post about my birthday party. For a change, this year Cherie and I celebrated our birthdays in her new home. Yey!

All the while we thought most of our friends couldn't make it. Some texted in that they already have a schedule for the night and some even complained how far the venue was. You know who you are ; p But the most important thing is that everybody turned up that night!

This is what I like most about blogging, I get invited by the brands that I use. Take Celeteque for example, after blogging about how I love this brand, I got my first invite last May 11. Yes, the same date as my wedding anniversary hehe I took home a set of Celeteque Advanced Anti Aging Trio from the event. It turned out to be my anniversary present because DH didn't give me any ; ( waaaaaaaaah! Plus, I went home late after the event that we have to cancel our plan for the night. Boo hoo!

Ok, enough of the whining! 

I hitched with MyMomFriday because I know parking at Linden Suites would be daunting task. She has a very good driver hehe The invite said that the event will be on the roof deck where I imagined it to be an open air venue. Good thing, the event took place in a conference-like room and it's air conditioned. I can't believe the heat that day. You can see the rays of the sun peeking through the curtain at the background of dermatologist, Dr. Nenita Alberto whose skin I envy.

She throughly discussed about skin aging and how to prevent it from happening too soon. 

Below are some of the key points to have a youthful looking skin:

• Avoid 10am-4pm sun
• Use sunscreen with at least SPF15
• Apply moisturizer to avoid water evaporation

Happy Cotton Buds

I am happy with my current cotton buds. First, it's paper stem. The cotton is securely spun around the tip so it won't slip off.  Don't you just hate it when the cotton easily detaches from the tip? Some cotton buds   have thin cotton tips making you use twice as much cotton buds.

I use it to clean my belly button and ears. I also use it for removing my eye make up together with Ponds Cold Cream Deep Cleanser. This product is available in Unimart, Greenhills Shopping Center.

Lastly, it's proudly made in the Philippines!

Pond's Cold Cream Deep Cleanser

I saw my mom using Pond's Cold Cream on her face to remove make up residue while growing up. And now, even with various make up remover in the market, I stick with Pond's because it's already tried and tested by my mom. I don't know why Pond's doesn't market it as a make up remover though.  But I can tell you this, it can double as one. It deeply cleanses and removes make up residue.

After attending two events in a day, Real Living Magazine and Nestle Heaven ice cream launch, I remove my make up using Pond's Cold Cream.
