Over a week ago, DH told me that he saw new models of air cooler by Honeywell. Little did I know that he already bought a unit last Wednesday.

On our initial use, the room was filled with the smell of plastic. I could hardly breathe. Apparently, the air cooler emits the odor. The next day, DH decided to change the water. The water was colored yellow/green...yikes! Good thing, the odor is gone now.
Now, DH's main concern is the loud sound that the unit is making when it's on. He will decide in a weeks time if the unit stays in our room or will be transported to his office.
For the price that he paid, he has to appreciate the beauty the unit brings to our room lol
