Most of my beauty posts are now all about lipsticks because I seldom put any makeup on when I go out these days. It's not that I became sloppy, it's just that, now, I dare to bare my face for everyone to see. I have to thank my dermatologist for my clear skin ; p

Anyway, since I have come down to bare minimum in terms of taking good care of my skin, I have discovered several products and I am sharing it with you in my succeeding posts. I am going to start with Celeteque DermoScience Sun Care Soothing Lip Balm.

I have sensitive skin so this lip balm is perfect. It is dermatologist tested and hypo- allergenic. It contains moisturizing oils that keep the lips healthy plus UVA/UVB filters for UV radiation prevention. It also keeps the lips soft and smooth and prevents it from rapidly aging.
Good news for smokers, according to the box, the Mulberry Extract ingredient in this soothing lip balm helps brighten and lighten discolored lips.
I like the product because the consistency is like that of petroleum jelly- colorless, tasteless and light-scented. I have to reapply it every so often though because it loses its soothing effect after an hour or so. Be sure to wash your hands before dipping your index finger inside the jar ; p
Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Make-Up Remover Wipes 20 sheets PhP150
Another product from Celeteque brand that pique my curiosity is Hydration Make-Up Remover Wipes. It is dermatologist tested, noncomedogenic and hypo-allergenic.
I thought of it as a very useful product especially for wives like me who is always on the go. I tried it one afternoon after coming home from an event that I attended.

What does noncomedogenic mean?
It simply means that the product doesn't clog pores. However, there is no scientific proof that it can reduce acne. Some products are noncomedogenic but can still cause itchiness, burning sensation and redness because it has retinol listed in their ingredients.
Celeteque make-up remover wipe
I felt a tingling/ burning sensation when I wiped it on my face. I don't know if there is an alcohol content, or other ingredients (retinol, perhaps?) that I am sensitive to that caused my skin to react that way.
It served its purpose, I was able to remove most of my makeup including my tough-to-remove eyeliner. This product works well as promise except that my skin is not reacting favorably with it ; p

Since I am afraid that I might breakout with the use of this product (I am really sensitive like that), I immediately washed my face with NEOVA, a facial wash recommended by my dermatologist, and water. Thank goodness, my face was not red after.
