Once in awhile, my dad and I go out on a father-daughter bonding session. One of the things we love doing together is eating. We were in SM Megamall the other week when we chanced upon his favorite restaurant when he was a kid- Masuki.
Original Mami Special PhP 120
He wanted to try it out not just to reminisce the old days but to let me experience what he ate when he was younger.
Original Mami Special has chicken and pork topping. Unlike in the photo on the menu, the chicken and pork can't be easily distinguished in our bowl of Original Mami Special.

Masuki's Original Mami Special
I prefer the second way. I sprinkle a lot of spring onions to cover up the scent. Masuki's Original Mami is also available in smaller bowl (Regular) for only PhP 110.
Masuki's Original Mami Special has a distinct smell. If you can get past that, just then you can enjoy your bowl of noodle with sauce and spring onions served on the side. My dad said that it has the same scent and taste as far as he can remember ; p
You can eat the Masuki's Original Mami Special in two ways:
- Pour the sauce over the bowl of noodles OR
- Get some noodles with your chopstick and dip it in the sauce

Siomai PhP 35 per piece
Skip this order because it was a tad too sweet for both of us. If you insist, you can always squeeze a lot of calamansi to balance out the taste that's what I did ; )
Pork Asado Regular PhP 55
Pork Asado Regular is meaty as evident in the photo. It was alright.
Bola-bola Siopao (Sanyuk Pao) PhP 57
Bola-bola Siopao and Siomai have the same taste- sweet. Aside from Chinese Chorizo and salted egg, there was not much filling.
My dad and I had fun on our date and I hope we can do this more often.
