Here's another noodle recipe! Noodles are so easy to prepare and cook. This week, I am sharing my pancit lomi or simply "lomi" recipe.
My mom used to prepare this when I was still single. I like it served warm as an afternoon snack or "merienda".
Pancit Lomi
With a lot of time on my hands, I get to try my hands at cooking her recipe. I hope you like the step by step, complete with photos, on how to cook pancit lomi.

(left to right): squid ball, carrots, onion leeks, ground pork lean, shrimp
Ingredients:
- A pack of lomi bought from Unimart
- Cooking oil (Baguio Oil)
- Sesame Oil (Lee Kum Kee)
- 1/8 kilo Ground Pork Lean (Tenderbites)
- 10 pieces of Shrimps
- Squid Balls sliced
- 1 Onion Leeks sliced
- 1 Carrots julienned
- 1/2 Lettuce sliced
- 2 Eggs
- All Purpose Flour
- Water
- Salt & Pepper
Broth:
- 1 Pork Cube
- Water
Step 1: In a pan, pour cooking oil then mix in sesame oil
Step 2: Add onion then garlic
Step 3: Cook ground pork lean until brown
Step 4: Add Shrimp, cook until orange in color then add squid balls
To make the broth: In a sauce pan, boil water and add one pork broth cube
Follow the cooking instruction from the box.
Step 5: Pour in broth

Blanching is a cooking process wherein the food substance, usually a vegetable or fruit, is plunged into boiling water, removed after a brief, timed interval, and finally plunged into iced water or placed under cold running water (shocked) to halt the cooking process. - SOURCE

Step 8: Add all purpose flour and water as thickener
Step 9: beat egg one at a time
Step 10: Carefully pour the beaten egg to the dish
Step 11: Add salt & pepper to taste
