chicken
In a pot, put a little oil and sautee the ginger. Half way through cooking your chicken, add the fish sauce. Cook all sides of the chicken.
green papaya
Put a pitcher of water together with the green papaya. Bring to boil.
dahon ng sili
Wait until the chicken and the green papaya are tender before putting the dahon ng sili. Add more fish sauce according to taste and whole pepper. Voila! Me tinolang manok ka na!

- patis or fish sauce
- cut chicken any part will do
- 2 small green papaya cut into cubes
- dahon ng sili
- 2 slices of ginger
- cooking oil
- water
- whole pepper
