Gadget Review: Hisense Mono Headset Mini HB200M

It is very seldom that I get to review a gadget. I want to thank Charles of Beyond The Box for introducing me to the beauty of technology!

This Hisense Mono Headset Mini HB200M was included inside the press kit during the launch of Beyond The Box in One Rockwell. It was not until recently that I was able to use it.

I am so happy with this bluetooth headset that I want to share with you how nice this gadget is!

This is not practical when you are commuting. The mini headset might get snatched from you. I just keep the necklace including the magnetic clip inside the box.

 choose which ear bud is suitable for you

Aside from the 3 ear bud sizes, there's an in-ear bud and a flexible hook. You can interchange the ear buds according to your level of comfort and preference.

You can rotate the in-ear bud clockwise or counter clockwise to fit your left or your right ear. To remove, simply detach the ear bud by pulling it towards you.

I am pressing the Multi-Function Button (MFB)

 The silver button in the middle is called MFB. It has a lot of use:


  • for pairing 
  • for answer/end call
  • turn headset on/off 


To turn the Headset On and Off, hold the MFB for 5 seconds. Release the button when the indicator lights (red & blue) flash once.

How to pair Hisense Mono Headset Mini HB200M:


  • headset should be off
  • hold MFB for 8 seconds until the blue and red indication light flash alternatively
  • activate Bluetooth function of your mobile phone
  • search for a bluetooth device
  • set your Bluetooth phone to 'discover'
  • mobile phone will then be able to find Hisense HB200M
  • mobile phone will ask if you want to pair with it
  •  accept by pressing OK/YES on the phone.

Confirmation message that your mobile phone is now connected to Hisense Mono Headset MIni HB200M

red light means the device is not connected to any mobile phones
