When my friends and I go out, we try as much as possible to use up all our gift certificates and charge slips for more shopping money ; p

We always meet up late with just enough time to shop before the stores closed. I have to eat a little or else I am going to faint from hunger hahaha One of my friends, Reggie, has a PhP250 gift certificate from The White Hat. I know this is not real food but I needed to eat, ok?

Select bloggers, media personalities and friends were invited during the celebration of the birthday of Mr. Eric Teng. He is the man behind the successful ventures such as Maldita, a clothing company and Mango Tree Bistro. Naturally, he celebrated in his own restaurant. And boy, was I glad because it's one of the few dining places in Trinoma that we go back to. In fact, you can view my first visit here.

Pictured above is a spicy minced pork. I tell you, they were not kidding when they put the word "spicy" next to minced pork. DH who is from Bicol, a province known for all things spicy, commented that this dish is really, really spicy! It's best paired with rice.

After our disappointing lunch date at Aquanox Restaurant, I am keeping my finger's crossed that DH and I can find a good restaurant to dine in. We came across Mango Tree Bistro while roaming around Trinoma Mall. Our date night dinner wasn't bad at all!

If you like curry, then you definitely have to order this. I like red curry than the green one because it has an added kick in it... spicy!
