Why I love Hong Kong: Toilet, Milk, Char Siu & Share Tea!

In the Philippines, you have to pay for the use of toilet with basic amenities such as tissue paper, alcohol and lotion. In Hong Kong, every single most toilet looks like the one in the picture below!

In other countries like Taiwan, toilet papers are provided even in toilets that needs you to squat on the floor ; p I wonder why we can't do it?

The double decker tram in Hong Kong fascinates me. Even if it's open air, I love it! It makes me feel like I am transported back in time! This is one of my fondest memories when I was a kid visiting Hong Kong and it never ceases to amaze me.

Incidentally, Hong Kong operates the world's largest fleet of double decker tramcars. Operating since 1904, it started with just 26 single deck trams ow with 163 double decker tramcars including two antique tramcars.

Why I love Taipei: Pedestrian lane

See the distance of the pedestrian lane from the cars? It's huge! That was why I was able to survive a month in Taipei without a companion. I could easily cross the street without fear of endangering myself. The cars stop when the stop light turns red and the walking sign turns green. The walking sign has a number signal of how long you can cross the street.
