I'm Switching: Charm Travel Pro v3

Newsflash! Read about the limited edition Charm Trave Pro Sonia Makeup Brush Set here. You can also read about my favorite Charm Essentials brush here.

Everyone who reads my blog knows that more often than not I apply most of the make up on my face with my fingertips. Yes, even the eye shadows. The reason is I am usually in a hurry. It gets the job done anyway so why bother, right? Wrong! Read on to find out why...

The brushes I own (there were only a few!) were either given to me as a gift or I have won in a giveaway. I bought only two basic brushes (eye shadow and powder brush) from The Body Shop.

When Sophie of Beautynomics saw my twitpic about my almost dead powder brush, she said that she will replace my old brush. A few months had past and I have thrown out my brush already when she told me that the brush has arrived ; )

Little did I know that I will be receiving a whole set- A Charm Travel Pro Makeup Brush Set is what she calls it. I was a little overwhelmed by the number of brushes included- 14 in all!

A set includes from (left to right):

  • Angled Blush Brush
  • Powder Brush
  • Stippling Brush

Travelogue: Tram, LV, Cafe de Coral in Central Hong Kong

My visit: July 31 to August 3, 2011

Central, Hong Kong

The double decker tram in Hong Kong fascinates me. Even if it's open air, I love it! It makes me feel like I am transported back in time! This is one of my fondest memories when I was a kid visiting Hong Kong and it never ceases to amaze me.

Incidentally, Hong Kong operates the world's largest fleet of double decker tramcars. Operating since 1904, it started with just 26 single deck trams ow with 163 double decker tramcars including two antique tramcars.

I have so much photos taken during my short vacation in Hong Kong that I have not yet shared with you, my dear readers! Initially I thought I don't have much to show but looking at the photos inside my Hong Kong folder, there were far too many!

DH and I

This photo was taken inside a bus on the day that I got my LV Tivoli GM. After buying my loot we went back to Wifi Hotel to unbox it and then went to Horizon Plaza in the afternoon.

Horizon Plaza is a warehouse converted into an outlet center with 28 floors full of designer clothes. You wouldn't miss a building where a Ferrari showroom at the ground floor is located, would you? ; )

Compare and Contrast: original and fake Longchamp Le Pliage

The entire content of this entry has been transferred in my new blog, xoxo MrsMartinez

In my previous post, you learned about how to spot a fake Longchamp Le Pliage. To help you visualize the difference between a fake from the original one, I borrowed  fake tote bag.

The photo above features an original RED made in France Longchamp Le Pliage Type M while the GREEN one (3rd photo) is a fake! It was bought for less than PhP 500 ; p

Right now, Longchamp has been manufacturing some of their bags from China. So, if you bought one that is made in China, it could still be real. Photos below can help you spot the difference so look closely.
