Baby Bath Essentials: Human Nature Baby Wash Dove Extra Sensitive & Baby Bee Nourishing Baby Oil

For a long time, my baby does not have a hair shampoo. It took me awhile before I decided on Human Heart Nature Baby Wash with Lavender, Rosemary & Chamomile. I bought it just last week in Rustan's Supermarket. And just today, I ordered and picked up another travel sized (50ml) bottle via a dealer in Quezon City.

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Nourishing Oil, Human Heart Nature Baby Wash with Lavender, Rosemary & Chamomile and Dove Extra Sensitive Beauty Cream Bar

Anyway, the products you see above are my baby's bath time essentials. Aside from Human Heart Nature Baby Wash, it also includes Dove Extra Sensitive Beauty Cream Bar as body soap and Burt's Bees Baby Nourishing Oil which I use to massage her after every bath time.

Dove Presents Unspeakably Yours The Underarm Monologues

October 10, 2012

Unspeakably Yours
The Underarm Monologues
Teatrino, Greenhills Promenade
San Juan City

Last night, I watched the second run of Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues. It is presented by Dove Deodorant in cooperation with Upstart Productions. Before the show began, the screen flashed this question "If your underarms could talk, what would they say to you?" Hmmm, it got me thinking... If my underarms could speak to me, this is what it might tell me, "Thank you for taking good care of me by not plucking or shaving. Thank you for always making me feel fresh and smelling good" hahaha

(l-r) Czarina De Leon Mercado (Brand Manager of Unilever Dove Philippines), Cindy Melocoton-Manlapaz (Unilever Philippines Marketing Manager for Deodorants and Oral Care),
Cathy Azanza-Dy (writer/director)
together with theater actresses Jenny Jamor,  Angela Padilla and Caisa Borromeo

As if to burst my bubble, Issa Litton, the hostess of the night, got down on stage and asked me if I discuss or talk about underarms with my girl friends, I replied, "No" ; p At that moment, I really can't remember but now that I am writing about this entry, well, maybe just this one time when my friend was complaining about her dark underarms due to her last 2 pregnancies. But that was said to me in confidence and we didn't discuss it in front of our other friends so I guess the answer I gave to Issa's question still applies.

Physiogel Hypoallergenic & Other Products - Solution to my Dry, Sensitive Skin

The entire content of this entry has been transferred in my new blog xoxo MrsMartinez

These days, I am happy because I have found a solution to my dry skin. You see, I have been visiting my dermatologist for numerous problems.

It all began late last year when I visited her clinic before I left for a vacation in Korea because I found tiny bumps in my forehead, I have back acne and also the disturbing rash on my chest. It felt so weird that everything came out simultaneously, even DH was in panic mode! But with diligence in applying the prescribed topical medication, all my problems were solved or so I thought!

Earlier this year, I noticed that there was a small circular dry area on my right cheek. Of course, I went back to my dermatologist. I was going anyway for a follow-up check up on the condition of my back acne - it was the most annoying thing that has happened to me.  During that visit, aside from topical medication prescription for my pimples, she gave me a sample sachet of Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cream for the dry area on my right cheek. I found it effective so after finishing it, I bought several sachets of different Physiogel products so I can try which one my skin needs.

Dove 2-Step Treatment + Dove Products I Love

I have so many Dove products in my bathroom that I can be mistaken as an endorser of the brand. How I wish! lol

Let me start with Dove 2-Step Treatment. I was hesitant to use it at first for fear that it will make my scalp oily but since I have been changing hair color every two to three months, I decided to open the tubes to pamper my hair.

Dove Step 1: Helps Replenish Protein 15ml

It's one decision that my hair will have to thank me forever ; p Using it made my hair feels so soft to touch, manageable and easy to style. Most importantly, it didn't make my scalp oily.

New Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair

A few weeks ago, a bag filled with Dove hair care products was delivered at my house. I was glad that it was the Intense Repair line. You know how I love to experiment with my hair. Over the past years, I have permed my hair 4x, colored my hair thrice and finally decided to cut my hair short

Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair

Naturally, I can't wait to give it a try. I picked a few products to test drive- Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Nutri-Oil Serum with Nutri-Oil Essence, Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair Overnight Treatment and Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner with Fiber Actives.

Dark Spots? Try Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum

Yesterday, I was talking to my SILs about skin problems. I found out that she has dark spots- a problem most women, aged 30 and above have. Ok, that includes me ; p I shared to her that it's very important to apply sun block every day especially if you are going to be out and under the sun.

Since I have already shared my other secret weapon aside from sun block to her, I also want to share it with you. It is a product that I have accidentally discovered- Brightening Serum. I didn't buy the product but I was one of the lucky few who won the entire range of Neutrogena Fine Fairness last December. The brand is so generous because I got the entire line in regular size bottles, tube and jar.

Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum 30ml PhP999

You know how I often get product sample sent over for review, right? After using a product line for 3 weeks for review, I always go back to Dove/ Celeteque for facial wash, Pond's Cold Cream for make up remover and now I add Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum to my list.

Venus Raj and Cream Silk giveaway

I personally met Venus Raj only once but I am captivated by her long, straight, black hair! Being a beauty queen, it is but normal for some hair style changes for guest appearances, photo shoots and other media events. Though not all people would agree with some of her hair style decisions, she only has one product to rely on when it comes to conditioning and bringing back her lustrous, black hair.

Venus Raj

Don't fret when you see her sporting a different hairdo to an event. No matter what her hair style is, at the end of the day, Venus Raj prefers to sport a beautiful straight hair. Thanks to Cream Silk conditioner, even if she frequently change from one hair style to another, her hair is recharged every time.

Celeteque Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer vs Celeteque Facial Moisturizer

I have been using Celeteque brand for quite some time now. I am alternately using Celeteque facial wash with Dove facial foam wash right now. One (Dove) was beside the sink and the other (Celeteque) inside my shower area.

Celeteque gives you that clean feeling without drying your skin.
