What is osteoporosis?
A medical condition in which the bones become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue, typically as a result of hormonal changes, or deficiency of calcium or vitamin D.
Many of us don't know that osteoporosis is a silent killer. One or more members of your family maybe at risk. And you might be one of them. Prevention is the key. My mom was diagnosed with osteoarthritis- degeneration of joint cartilage and the underlying bone, most common from middle age onward.
