Mr. Choi Kitchen recently opened another branch in Robinsons Magnolia. Yey, it's now near my place, I can have Hot Prawn Salad anytime I want!

Don't be confused! I know I wrote about celebrating my birthday in Sariwon, Bonifacio High Street Central. What I didn't tell you is that I had lunch that day with my neighbor and fellow blogger Rowena in Torch.

The restaurant is located along Connecticut St. You will not miss it because it is housed within the huge Home Studio Building. Be sure to be there early as parking slots are limited. 

Anyway, with only PhP1000 gift certificate on hand, we decided to just share whatever we order. I am a rice person so ordering a rice topping is a must. 

Salpicao Tenders is only served between 7:00 am to 10:30 am with complimentary bottomless House Blend Coffee. Since our visit was for blogging purposes, we were allowed to order a plate of sauteed US Angus beef tenderloin cubes with egg and garlic rice. Our verdict: Very Satisfactory. The beef was tender, almost melt in your mouth kind. No coffee was served.

Two weeks ago, DH and I braved the traffic going to Makati just to meet with friends who love to eat good food! We seldom go to Makati because it's far from where we live. But who can resist dining with super friends, right?

It was Ryan who recommended the crab cakes. When DH and I arrived, he told us that he and his wife had just finished eating the cakes. We ordered another one as one of the appetizers. It has bits of crab that you can taste as your bite into it. We ordered 4 of these crunchy crab cakes over green leaves, cucumber and cherry tomatoes.

Last Saturday, DH and I went to SM North EDSA to purchase Christmas giveaways for our clients. I am always on the scout for good deals when inside the mall. I was handed a piece of Burgoo flier right after stepping out of the parking lot. It says Buy 1 Take 1 FREE! I set my mind on eating there before shopping. 

When you order a main entree, you can get the same item or a lower value main entree for free! Don't you just love it!

We seldom eat beef in our house. But last Saturday night was an exemption, DH ordered Angus rib-eye. I naturally salivated and the thought of ordering one for myself crossed my mind. DH stopped me and suggested I order a different main course.

And we're back in Tagaytay! It is so near Manila yet the weather is so different. I so love it there! 

We had our lunch at our favorite Japanese restaurant in Sta. Rosa, Umenoya. After visiting Tagaytay Highlands all afternoon, we were all famished! DH suggested to eat somewhere in Tagaytay.  I, on the other hand, suggested going back to Manila for good eats because memories of the food served in Cafe Platito was still fresh on my mind ; p But with four against one, I lost! 

I quickly suggested Hawaiian BBQ Grill located in The Boutique Bed and Breakfast! Not wanting others to contradict my suggestion, I told them that the restaurant's specialty is baby back ribs haha So, yes, we had our hearty dinner there!

When our friends came back from New Zealand, we wanted to treat them to Yakimix. The problem with Yakimix in Tomas Morato, is that the restaurant can only accommodate 6pm or an 8pm reservation as it is a buffet restaurant with numerous patrons even on a week night!

I decided, together with my cousin, to just treat them to Wicked Kitchen.
