Hello! How's your day? I was in Trinoma Mall earlier today where I met with the Pevonia girls (as I would love to call them ; p). They treated me to a hearty lunch at Kimpura (yes, this is still part of my post birthday celebration. IKR, it has extended until the month of June ; p)

with Jennifer Casitas, Pevonia Philippines PR Manager/ Asst. to the Managing Director and
Marie Elaine Palapag, Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Our meeting was set at 11am, little did we know that the restaurant opens at 11:30am ; p Luckily, we were able to get inside before the said time, thanks to the charm of Ms. Elaine.

We requested for seats in the Teppanyaki area. Ok, I am warning you, there's a lot and I mean a lot of food photos coming right at you! Don't judge us for what we have ordered lol

With that said, you can read more after the break...

Day 7

January 3, 2013

Namba (Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, Amerikamura and Den Den Town)
Osaka, Japan

Finally, I am down to the last installment of my Japan vacation entry. Thank you for being patient with me.

On our last full day in Osaka, we spent it in one of Osaka's major city center, Minami (Namba). It is the city's most famous entertainment district with numerous shopping and dining choices.

We went around Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, Amerikamura and Den Den Town. It was fun taking photos of Japanese pop culture and also trying out most of the food stalls that we passed by ; p

Kyo-Chabana & Our First Night in Osaka

December 28, 2012

Day 1

Kyo-Chabana
2nd floor Shin-Osaka Station
Osaka, Japan
06-6152-8751

Hello peeps! I just got back yesterday from my vacation in Osaka, Japan. I was tired from all the walking we did in and around Osaka but we had fun during our 8-day stay.

 Kyo-Chabana facade

We arrived at around seven in the evening. From the airport, we bought 2 Kansai Wide Area Passes then rode Kansai-airport Express Haruka to Shin-Osaka station. After checking in Remm Shin-Osaka, the only decent restaurant that was still open at 10:30 in the evening (last order) aside from McDonald's was Kyo-Chabana. Little did we know that Kyo-Chabana is famous in Kyoto and Osaka for its okonomiyaki. The restaurant is located one floor down from where we stayed.

Find out what we ordered after the break...

I have so much photos taken during my short vacation in Hong Kong that I have not yet shared with you, my dear readers! Initially I thought I don't have much to show but looking at the photos inside my Hong Kong folder, there were far too many!

DH and I

This photo was taken inside a bus on the day that I got my LV Tivoli GM. After buying my loot we went back to Wifi Hotel to unbox it and then went to Horizon Plaza in the afternoon.

Horizon Plaza is a warehouse converted into an outlet center with 28 floors full of designer clothes. You wouldn't miss a building where a Ferrari showroom at the ground floor is located, would you? ; )

First bite in Sango Rockwell

My visit: June 17, 2011

Sango Rockwell
The Burger Master
Unit 103H  R1 Power Plant Mall
Rockwell

Once in awhile, DH and I have a date night where in we dine out and then watch a movie after. This is one of those nights. After getting a movie ticket, I think it was for Super 8, we searched for a place to eat. DH would usually suggest Oliver's Sandwiches if we are out of time but we have plenty of time on our hands that night.

I saw a huge tarpaulin banners at the center of Power Plant mall advertising Sango Burgers. We were a bit lost because the ad says that the location of Sango Burger was in Lower Ground Floor. We searched the whole floor and back. We were getting irritated because we couldn't find the restaurant. Thank God for security guards who directed us to the place. It turned out that it is located outside just beside Starbucks.

okonomi hotdog PhP155

The okonomi hotdog shown in the photo is just half of the order. I have made the mistake of telling the waitress to sliced both of our orders in half. When presented to us, our orders were separated already in different wrappers. It looks kind of small in the photo but it was very filling nonetheless.

Okonomiyaki is a Japanese pancake/pizza consists of different ingredients. Okonomi means what you like/ want. Yaki means grilled/ cooked.

The hotdog contains lettuce, onions and dancing fish flakes also known as katsuobushi.
