United Colors of Benetton (UCB) Body Mist Launch

Unit C Ground Floor, Fort Pointe 2 Building
The Fort Complex, 28th St.,
Fort Bonifacio Global City

Last Friday, I was dilly-dallying whether to attend the launching of United Colors of Benetton Body Mists or not. Since you are now reading this post, it means that I went ahead and drove alone to The Fort Bonifacio Global City. Thank God, there's no heavy traffic along EDSA. I reached the venue in less than an hour... whew!

Arousing Watermelon and Refreshing Apple Body Mists 250ml PhP 499.95

I arrived 30 minutes earlier than the specified time on the invite but Emily, Brand Manager of Benetton Fragrances, was already there at Early Bird Breakfast Club. She gave a brief description about the 12 new variants of UCB Body Mists and how they were conceptualized.

pure DKNY - a drop of vanilla scent spray

Some time ago, I wrote about pure DKNY a drop of verbena. Every time I go out of the house, I spray it once on my wrist and somewhere in between my neck and collarbone. It was no denying that I have found my distinct scent. The scent spelled F-R-E-S-H and I own it!

 pureDKNY Vanilla 50 ml - PhP 3,500

About a week ago, another bottle of scent spray was sent over by my friends from Aramis Designer Fragrances (ADF). This time it's a 50 ml bottle of pureDKNY Vanilla.

At first glance, the packaging is almost the same as verbena. The glass is inspired by a raindrop - all curves and no hard edges. It is 100% recyclable. The bottle cap is 100% recyclable high quality aluminum. The carton is printed with lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) inks and made from Certified Forest paper. The difference lies in the color of the bottle cap and the background color on the label.

United Colors Of Benetton Fragrances: Hot Gold, Cold Silver, Bianco & Nero

United Colors of Benetton recently introduced four fragrances-Hot Gold, Cold Silver, Bianco & Nero. Hot Gold & Cold Silver sample fragrances were on our table that night. I was inspired when I took a whiff, one is definitely better than the other! I just forgot which one lol

Hot Gold & Cold Silver Eau de Toilette 100ml PhP1,375 each bottle

There were several bottles of fragrances raffled off that night. Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky ones who went home with these good looking bottles from Benetton but the bonding with fellow bloggers that night was more than enough.

Hot Gold for Women is light and elegant fruity floral fragrance which opens with a bright bergamot note, rounded out by touches of golden apple and yellow peach. The delicate heart blends star fruit and radiant rose with soft hints of mimosa, developing into a sensual dry-down of sandalwood, solar musks and golden amber.

Cold Silver for Men
top note: Yuzu, coriander and ginger
mid note: cardamom seeds
base note: woody and musky

Launched in 1997, these iconic fragrances are available this June 2012 in all FReSH Fragrance Bar & leading department stores nationwide.

Getting to know Coach Signature Fragrance

Just like my affinity with deodorant which is zero to none,  I am not so much into fragrances. Shocking revelation? Yeah?! I am so unlike my brother and my dad who can finish up a 50ml bottle in a week's time. How? By spraying all over their entire body. I must be like my mom who doesn't like wearing perfume that much. The only difference is that she has a signature scent- Samsara by Guerlain.

I can only name one bottle that I was able to use up and bought two bottles more after- Clinique Happy. (I guess this is my signature scent , huh?) To give you an idea on how long a bottle can last with me, a cousin of mine gave me a bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance during my visit to Canada in the year 2003. Guess what? The half empty bottle is still with me and yet I considered it as my second favorite scent haha I have perfumes that are really, really old but I still keep them. I don't know if that is good or bad. Does perfumes have an expiry date? Enlighten me.

Coach Signature Eau de Toilette 50ml PhP3700

Remember awhile back I told you I had a meeting with GoodSkin Lab's Marketing Executive. What I didn't tell you is that I also met with Aramis Designer Fragrance Brand Coordinator, Krishna.  These two companies are divisions under Estee Lauder Co. I was given a Coach Signature EDT 50ml to try.
