I just want to share with you an outfit post. I know, right? It has been awhile. After feeling fat and horrible from what I ate last holiday, I finally have the guts to take some photos hahaha

Anyway, before I show you my OOTD, let me share with you what I ate during the launching of United Colors of Benetton Body Mists collection. As I wrote in my previous entry, the venue was at Early Bird Breakfast Club where you can have breakfast all day, everyday of the week! I was at Fort Pointe 2 twice in one week! First for Samsung Galaxy SIII and then for UCB ; p

First, I commend this restaurant for its food presentation. Tara of Chronicles of Vanity and I shared all dishes that are featured here. The picture you see above was actually just half of the dish but look at how it was presented, di ba? It was so nice pa din ; )

I thought that since we were splitting this dish into two, we would each have a few quantity of Spanish chorizo but on the contrary, I think there were five or more chorizos on my plate alone. The restaurant doesn't scrimp on its ingredients. I especially liked the Parmesan Cheese on top ; ) Eat this dish while it's warm.

Last Friday, I was dilly-dallying whether to attend the launching of United Colors of Benetton Body Mists or not. Since you are now reading this post, it means that I went ahead and drove alone to The Fort Bonifacio Global City. Thank God, there's no heavy traffic along EDSA. I reached the venue in less than an hour... whew!

I arrived 30 minutes earlier than the specified time on the invite but Emily, Brand Manager of Benetton Fragrances, was already there at Early Bird Breakfast Club. She gave a brief description about the 12 new variants of UCB Body Mists and how they were conceptualized.

Ever since we came back from South Korea last January, DH and I has always been on a look out for new Korean restaurants in the metro. Days before my birthday, I got an email from no less than the owner herself asking if I wanted to try a newly opened Korean restaurant in Bonifacio High Street Central. Boy, I am glad I said yes!

I am addicted to Zumba! In fact, I am currently enrolled in one of the studios near my house. When I got an invite to attend a fitness event featuring a Zumba class, how can I say no?

Whole grain food, such as Nestle Fitnesse cereal makes you feel fuller longer because it is high in volume and low-calorie density. 

While waiting for the event to start, we were treated to a healthy breakfast courtesy of Nestle Fitnesse. Three choices were available- Low Fat Whole Grain Cereal, Fitnesse &  Fruit and Honey & Almond. The cereal was complemented by Nestle Low Fat 100% Fresh Cow's Milk and some dried fruits and nuts. This was a nice alternative to my usual bread with peanut butter breakfast ; p

After gracing the launching of Estee Lauder's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, my blogger friends and I dined at 2nd's Comfort Food Revisited. It was Shen who suggested the restaurant. I went along as long the establishment accepts credit card hahaha You see,  I only bring a few pesos when I go out. An old habit I carry with me until now. I know, bummer, right? I should kick that habit!

The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. recently unveiled its 2011 Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign. It also launched "Shine A Light on Breast Cancer " Social Media Program on FaceBook and partnered with Philips for the illumination of the Transformation sculpture by Architect Lor Calma. The landmark lighted in pink LED lights can be seen at 32nd Street corner 5th Ave. at Fort Bonifacio Global City.

I know I wrote that I am shying away from events, right? This is one of the last few invites that I have already said yes to so I went and I was not disappointed with the food presented to us! As usual, I hitched with Rowena and then we transferred to Richard's car. Carpooling saves gas, you know! 

We were there a bit early and I gawked when I learned from Rowena that the food will not be served until 1:30pm. The event was situated on the second floor of the restaurant. The private function room  can accommodate approximately 20-30 people. Only a select few bloggers were invited and the rest were traditional media. One good thing was that the event started as scheduled.

The picture above is steamed homemade dumpling in Chinese black vinegar. The splash of red and green color on top of the dish makes this irresistible for people like me who occasionally yearns for dumplings! Be sure to dip your dumplings in its sauce.

DH and I both love Japanese food! Entering this establishment reminded me of another Japanese restaurant in Trinoma Mall, Haiku. It turned out I was right because they belong to one mother company. What gave me the feeling is the interior and the menu particularly the fruit shake I ordered from Haiku, watermelon-melon shake haha Read my entry about it here. 

Now that I am reviewing my blog post on Haiku, it's déjà vu- we ordered the exact same thing lol Well, except for the ebi sushi, DH didn't order that. And I sure do not want to order another watermelon-melon shake. Even after two years, I can still hear the waiter's voice lol

Last night was a triple celebration- 25th anniversary, opening of the 400th store in Baguio and the launching of the new orange chicken from the country's leading Chinese fast food chain- CHOWKING!

The chicken served was already cold. I was not able to fully appreciate it. At first bite, all I can taste was the breading but the chicken was tender. I wanted to experienced the sweet and orangey taste which I didn't quite get because there was only a teensy weensy bit of sauce. Hopefully, I can get a chance to eat this orange chicken soon without confetti on top ; p Because confetti was everywhere that night!

I was giddy, excited and photo op ready lol Scored four invites, my DB, DS, together with my long time friend, AC and I went to NBC, The Fort, Taguig armed with my reliable point and shoot Canon 860IS.

We were seated in the front row and feeling superstar in our own rights!

It took me less than 30 minutes to achieve this look lol Boy, am I gifted or what?! haha
