Lola Cafe + Bar in Quezon City

April 19, 2013

Lola Cafe Bar
99 Sct. Lozano St.,
Quezon City
5012620

Happy Mother's Day!

Quezon City never runs out of new restaurants and that's one of the reasons why I love living here. Last month, I tried this new restaurant called Lola Cafe + Bar with my girl friends. We sampled a few dishes, there are some hits and misses. I found out that the restaurant just opened a few months before and maybe it is still finding its identity and flavor. Well, there's always room for improvement.

Garden Salad PhP 280

Romaine, arugula, cucumber, parmesan with candied walnut, feta cheese, fresh tomato and greek vinaigrette

An order of Garden Salad is good for sharing. The vegetable were not wilted and the amount dressing was just right. I also loved the shaved parmesan, candied walnut and feta cheese. These ingredients reminded me of Cyma's Roka Salata.

Make Everyday "Best In" Moments with Greenwich Lasagna Supreme

Last Friday, I tweeted this---> "Hungry as usual! What delivery hotline should I dial?"And what do you know, an hour after that tweet, I received a delivery from Greenwich. The picnic basket was loaded with Greenwich's mouth-watering Lasagna Supreme!

 Greenwich Lasagna Supreme

As I am typing this entry, I am having my afternoon snack---> Greenwich Lasagna Supreme, of course! I can't get enough of the cheese on top ; )
Greenwich best-tasting pasta now has thicker noodles and chunkier meat sauce, complimented by three types of cheese and topped with a rich and creamy white sauce. Served with 1 pc. Garlic Stix.

Greenwich Pizza & Pasta
Rockeoke Night with Greenwich Barkada
Katipunan Branch

Who doesn't love spaghetti? The classic red spaghetti is the first thing that comes to mind whenever we plan for any party. Filipinos have distinctly made the spaghetti their own by adding a little bit of sweetness and a meatier flavor.

Greenwich Spaghetti Supreme with Garlic Stix only PhP49!

Greenwich recently launched the all-new and improved Greenwich Spaghetti Supreme during the Rockeoke Night in Katipunan. It has 25% more noodles and sweet-blended sauce. It has richer tomato sauce. It means using only the finest and freshest ingredients- perfect for the Filipino taste!

It uses juicy ground beef with freshly grated cheese on top. Let's not forget the tasty Garlic Stix that goes well with every order of Greenwich Spaghetti Supreme. All these for only PhP49!

A Better than Ever Greenwich Christmas with John Lloyd Cruz!

My event: November 23, 2011

Greenwich
4th Floor, Atrium
SM Megamall

Christmas started early this year with "Better Than Ever Greenwich Christmas". It is a media event that launched The Greenwich Overloaded Pizza Blowout- a nationwide pizza sampling which was Greenwich early Christmas treat for pizza lovers in the Philippines. There were over 10, 000 slices of Greenwich Ultimate Hawaiian Overload and the Greenwich Special Overload pizzas for FREE! This early Christmas treat gave customers a chance to taste why Greenwich is better than ever!

 Greenwich's Ultimate Hawaiian Overload

Meanwhile, people who attended the media event were able to taste Greenwich's Ultimate Hawaiian Overload- my favorite! Overloaded with 2x more hawaiian toppings freshly- made just for you. Taking the words from a recent Greenwich commercial, it's sooooo cheesy!

Cafe Mary Grace

My visit: April 18, 2010

Cafe Mary Grace
Trinoma
North Ave. cor. EDSA,
Quezon City

Last Sunday was the first of the four nights that I stayed home alone. Well, I still have our two cute dogs and our maid. In our seven years of marriage, it was I who always travel and left DH to fend for himself. Now, tables have turned. So, I spent the first night outside as long as I can. And the best place for me was to visit a mall lol Good thing, AC, have agreed to come with me.

We had a late dinner at Cafe Mary Grace. I was a bit apprehensive when AC suggested Cafe Mary Grace. What comes to my mind is the kiosk that offers freshly baked goods. It didn't occur to me that it also has a cafe. The cafe had a few tables inside but some of the tables also occupied spaces outside. The waiter prompted us to take a table outside since he was already cleaning inside. He politely told us that they can still accommodate our orders and I was glad to hear that.

(l-r): apple tea and peppermint tea PhP 75

The apple tea gave out a very strong taste and I was kind of disappointed. I sipped AC's peppermint tea and I think it tasted better since it was lighter in taste. But I get used to the taste of the apple tea and was able to finish the huge glass down to the last drop lol
