DKNY Be Delicious Eau So Intense Collection

November 29, 2012

DKNY Be Delicious Eau So Intense
The Manila Peninsula Conservatory

I attended the launching of the newest perfume collection of DKNY called Be Delicious Eau So Intense last Thursday. Be Delicious Eau So Intense, Golden Delicious Eau So Intense and Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense are intensified versions of the three coveted apple-inspired fragrances of Be Delicious which was launched in 2004. It has maintained the original structure and balance, just with more potency and staying power!

DKNY Delicious apples are best-sellers with over 4,000,000 bottles sold each year worldwide, that's 10,000 bottles sold in a day or 6-7 bottles every minute! Whew!

Find out what my favorite from the new DKNY Eau So Intense Collection after the break....

OOTD: School Girl look

These days attending events posed a great challenge because I am only allowed to wear white colored blouses/tops. It is another one of the tradition that shows respect for my deceased mother-in-law.

I attended two events last October 27, 2011, one in Makati Shangri- la Hotel and the other one in Society Lounge. This photo was taken during the Pond's event in Society Lounge.

What I am wearing:

  • Blouse from Korea
  • YB by BSN (Bossini)
  • Shoes from Taiwan

The white blouse was given to me by a family friend. There are a couple more like this blouse in our family because my SIL and I wore it during the wake.

OOTD at Ayala Triangle Makati

I was in Makati last Friday together with my parents in support of my sister who graduated Valedictorian in the 5th PSE- ATENEO Certified Securities Specialist Course (PSE-Ateneo CSSC). Anyway, we were there 3 hours prior to the event. While waiting, we ate at Chef Laudico's BFAST and collected my free drinks courtesy of HSBC credit card in Starbucks.

I saw a photo opportunity while walking towards the restaurant row. My mom, who is by now used to taking my photos, was instructing on how to angle my body towards the camera. That's why my body is a bit contorted in the following photos lol

3 Hook Bra Extenders in Black!

Throwing away your old bra because it wouldn't fit? Don't fret! I have the practical solution that costs less than PhP20... Bra Extenders!

3 hook bra extender PhP12.75 bought in Landmark

I admit over the holidays, I got fat. I added 5 pounds to my usual weight! OMG, the moment of truth was when I fitted my bra and the sides of my skin falls out of proportion... think Michelin tires! lol

So, my new find over the holiday is not food or make up but a 3 hook bra extender with 3 hook and eyes. I saw this black bra extender in the lingerie section of Landmark department store inside Trinoma Mall. I thought it wouldn't fit my Wacoal bandeau bra but it did and inexpensive at that! I felt happy because I save a lot of money from not buying a new bra.

Using it is easy just hook the extenders to your old bra and thats it!

My old bra is given a new lease of life haha But I am counting on my future treatments with a slimming center plus diet so I can do away with my bra extender in a few weeks. Hopefully everything will go as planned!

Available in 2 and 3 hook bra extenders. Colors in beige, black and pink.

Home Improvement: My World is turning GREEN!

My home is loving the color green!

Shoes: SUKI

It's been over a year since I started looking for shoes to replace my old ones. You see, I am not a shoe addict. I only have less than 10 shoes in my closet, slippers not included. I have shoes in white, black and brown just the basic colors to match any of my clothes. Recently, all my shoes have become unwearable simultaneously. Good thing, when AC and I were shopping in Landmark, Trinoma a few weekends ago, I stumbled upon SUKI. I often saw SUKI brand in Greenhills Shopping Center but have not had the chance to buy one mainly because I still have shoes to wear.

I bought this one in Greenhills Shopping Center. Easy to slip on. I really like the design as my toes are not protruding in the front of the shoes. I have been looking for shoes that can hold all my toes in place haha I started wearing it today. Both my little toes are now a little numb from the front clasp. I needed to break this shoes in lol

I wanted open toe shoes and SUKI has them and in different colors. I bought two designs in their Trinoma branch and one in their Greenhills branch.

Slippers... my size!

In my previous post, I talked about how DH liked the bathroom slippers I bought for shower use. He liked it so much that he used the rubber slippers as his bedroom slippers. As my revenge, I bought two new rubber slippers in Landmark, Trinoma.

red bathroom slippers with holes PhP134.75

The one pictured above is just right for the bathroom. The sole has holes so that water can freely flow and not stuck on your slippers as you shower. And what's more important is that I tested the rubber soles if it will slide off the shower floor... it's safe, I tell you!

Kleenex 3 ply 9pcs.- PhP208

I used to buy and patronized Kleenex until one time while I was in the supermarket, I was approached by a sales representative to try a different brand, Vanita. The sales pitch was Vanita Supreme has 12 rolls plus an additional 3 rolls of 4 ply each roll. Kleenex has only 9 rolls of 3 ply each roll. Both are priced at PhP208.

New find: Aquazorb Towels

DH and I were at Landmark Makati yesterday and we bought a lot of Aquazorb products to give to our friends and relatives for the coming holiday. Good thing Aquazorb is on a 10% discount and with each product purchased, you get a free gift bag. Too bad, they don't offer stitching of names on towels in this branch.

free gift bag and tag with every towel purchased

Price WAR: SM vs Landmark

As I have related on my previous post, I was on the first day of the 3 day sale in SM Sta. Mesa.

I already have a list of what to buy and I also made sure to be there early so as to get the additional 10% discount on my purchase.

spot the difference

I was at Market! Market! mall a few weeks ago and I saw the price of Ruby Red apple display at PhP59.75 each. I was delighted to see that SM is selling it for only PhP49.75 each. A 10% discount is given on the cashier and if you have an SM Advantage card, an additional 10% off will be given to you as long as you shop between 10am to 12nn on the first day only. The price would now be down to PhP40 each. What a savings or so I thought!

Here are the proofs:

sm receipt

landmark receipt

Until I went to Landmark in Trinoma yesterday. The same Ruby red apple is sold for only PhP39.75 each and since the store is also on sale until August 31, a discount of 10% is given at the cashier. Exactly the same item but it is cheaper in Landmark.

vase full of washington apples

I bought 20 pieces of apples in SM and an additional 5 pieces more in Landmark to fill the vase. Buti nalang it turned out great hehe Kung hindi ang sama na ng loob ko sa haba ng pinila ko sa SM lol

Follow up: I was in Robinson's Galleria and I saw the same red Washington apple priced at 50% off from the original price of PhP99. What?? OK lang ang Robinson's?

Make- Up: PAC lipstick

baby pink

Velvet finish 202V

I was looking for a lipstick that is baby pink in color. In my serious search, I found this brand... PAC. PAC stands for professional artist cosmetics. It is an Indonesian brand.

You will be saying goodbye to chapstick and other lip moisturizers when you put on PAC on your lips. The lipstick just glides on your lips. Stays on and your lips won't feel dry. So, buy now and pucker up. I bought this on sale for less than PhP 500 at The Landmark, Trinoma.
