In my previous entry, I told you about meeting the "Pevonia girls" for a post birthday lunch, right? Well, that's not all what happened. After lunch, the girls handed over a bag- silly me, I mistook it as a laptop bag ; p Found inside were Pevonia products (or "Pangkabuhayan Showcase" as Elaine calls it ; ) that I could use at home.

Anyway, as if that was not enough, they ushered me to The Spa located on the same level as Kimpura. For the next hour and a half, I experienced a luxurious service called Crystalline Body Treatment using only Pevonia products like Silky Skin Body Scrub and Micro-emulsified Massage Oil.

Gift Guide: Starbucks Glass Water Bottle (White)

With All Saint's Day over, it's officially holiday season on my blog! I posted several Gift Guide entries last December 2011. I first saw the Starbucks Glass Water Bottle from Kris of OCMomInManila when we both participated in the Amherst Plant Tour. She brought it with her during the tour. I thought it was expensive but she told me it was only less than PhP 1,000 and she has already bought two... wow!

Fast forward last long weekend, I visited Starbucks Trinoma and... voila! I found it hidden in the corner of the cabinet display, only 3 were left ; ( I quickly grabbed one. While lining in the cashier, I saw two ladies in front of me holding one glass water bottle each ; p

A few weeks ago, I was with a friend of mine excitedly waiting for the doors of Trinoma to open. Yes, we were there a little before 10 am on a Saturday to avoid the crowd and other bargain hunters like me lol

Last Thursday, I attended a shopping event in Trinoma Mall. Yes, you read that right, it's an event that involves shopping, my forte ; ) Of course, being a shopaholic that I am, I could not say no ; p It was hosted by the no. 1 skin care brand, no.1 cosmetic brand and no. 1 beauty institute brand in France, Yves Rocher. Whew, that's a lot of no.1 in one sentence ; p

Can you believe that I pulled this look in less than an hour? I went to Hotel Sofitel in my office attire- white shirt and jeans, then changed into these vavavoom outfit in one of the restrooms of the hotel.

And boy, was I glad because it's one of the few dining places in Trinoma that we go back to. In fact, you can view my first visit here.

Pictured above is a spicy minced pork. I tell you, they were not kidding when they put the word "spicy" next to minced pork. DH who is from Bicol, a province known for all things spicy, commented that this dish is really, really spicy! It's best paired with rice.

I admit over the holidays, I got fat. I added 5 pounds to my usual weight! OMG, the moment of truth was when I fitted my bra and the sides of my skin falls out of proportion... think Michelin tires! lol

So, my new find over the holiday is not food or make up but a 3 hook bra extender with 3 hook and eyes. I saw this black bra extender in the lingerie section of Landmark department store inside Trinoma Mall. I thought it wouldn't fit my Wacoal bandeau bra but it did and inexpensive at that! I felt happy because I save a lot of money from not buying a new bra.

Using it is easy just hook the extenders to your old bra and thats it!

My old bra is given a new lease of life haha But I am counting on my future treatments with a slimming center plus diet so I can do away with my bra extender in a few weeks. Hopefully everything will go as planned!

After our disappointing lunch date at Aquanox Restaurant, I am keeping my finger's crossed that DH and I can find a good restaurant to dine in. We came across Mango Tree Bistro while roaming around Trinoma Mall. Our date night dinner wasn't bad at all!

I bought a retractable brush a few weeks ago and I thought I would share this to my readers with pets. Precious, my pomeranian, sheds too much hair. With this brush, hair can be easily removed with just one twist. The bad thing about the brush is that the twist mechanism has no lock. So, I always have to reposition/ twist it back so the bristle won't retract while grooming my dog.

Last Saturday, DH and I had a movie date night. But before that we had to eat so he asked me where I would want to eat, I said Kimpura. He said he miss Mey Lin's stir fried string beans with minced pork. I, on the other hand, miss teppanyaki. Guess who won? Me! It is but right because he was the one who asked me out on a date haha

I was in Trinoma for our date night. While DH was buying our movie ticket, a tiangge near the escalator caught my attention selling organic stuff and an assortment of shoes. I remembered My Mom-Friday wrote about espadrille wedge sandals a few posts ago. Due to old age Due to memory gap, I forgot the price and the name of the store where she bought her shoes. All I remembered was she bought it in Tiendesitas. I vaguely remembered how much she paid for it. Yeah, I know, it sucks, right?!

Shoes: SUKI

It's been over a year since I started looking for shoes to replace my old ones. You see, I am not a shoe addict. I only have less than 10 shoes in my closet, slippers not included. I have shoes in white, black and brown just the basic colors to match any of my clothes. Recently, all my shoes have become unwearable simultaneously. Good thing, when AC and I were shopping in Landmark, Trinoma a few weekends ago, I stumbled upon SUKI. I often saw SUKI brand in Greenhills Shopping Center but have not had the chance to buy one mainly because I still have shoes to wear.

I bought this one in Greenhills Shopping Center. Easy to slip on. I really like the design as my toes are not protruding in the front of the shoes. I have been looking for shoes that can hold all my toes in place haha I started wearing it today. Both my little toes are now a little numb from the front clasp. I needed to break this shoes in lol

I wanted open toe shoes and SUKI has them and in different colors. I bought two designs in their Trinoma branch and one in their Greenhills branch.
