Last November 29, I attended two events in one day. The first was the launching of DKNY Be Delicious Eau So Intense and after a couple of hours, I went to Greenwich Better Than Any Other Xmas party ; ) It was a night filled with fun games, entertainment (Anne sang a Christmas song ; p ) and raffle prizes. It was also a star-studded night because most of the celebrity endorsers were present. I said most because John Lloyd Cruz did not grace the occasion ; ( It would have been perfect if JLC attended the said event ; p

I love attending Greenwich events because the people behind the brand are always so warm and accommodating especially Ms. Cookie Cabrera, PR and Corporate Affairs Manager of Greenwich Pizza Corporation - JFC.

Anlene Partners for Life Now & Forever!

My recent bone scan showed that I am at HIGH RISK of having an osteoporosis... ack! But I was not that shocked given the history of my mom, she has degenerative osteoarthritis ; ( It seems to me that I am not getting enough calcium supplement from my non-fat milk... darn!

At age 36, I am currently at HIGH RISK of having Osteoporosis

You see, I have a steady supply of fresh non-fat milk from Milk Man so all the Anlene supply (powdered or concentrate) I get goes straight to my mom's.  Learning about my recent bone scan result, Franco of BridgesPR promised to send me boxes of Anlene... yey!

Last Wednesday, I covered the awarding ceremony of HSBC's Five Outstanding Principals in Shangri-la Makati. The principals were chosen among HSBC Principals Leadership Enhancement and Development Program (PLP) participants who underwent rigorous training during a series of conferences that tackled leadership, management, professional development and human resource issues. Since its inception, it has trained 200 principals from various schools all over the Philippines in three separate batches.

Honoree are (3rd from left) Aurora Marcelino of P. This is not the first time that DH went with me in an event but this time it is different. Lab Series specifically stated in the invite that bloggers should bring along a partner / friend to try out their new skin care products for men. Naturally, I brought along DH. I don't know about my male readers but DH has basic skin care needs. Would you believe he just uses tap water to clean his face and that's it?!

Following up on the successful fun run held for the first time last year, HSBC decided to make it an annual event. HSBC, the world's local bank, has been doing business in the Philippines for almost 136 years. As part of its advocacy, all proceeds for this year's run will be donated to Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation (SAS).

I always attend Anlene event. Why? Because my mom suffers from osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. I have a keen desire to learn more about the killer disease and would also want to know how to fight it. 

Thanks to Anlene's intimate round table discussion, the people from Fonterra New Zealand and Fonterra Philippines, were able to shed some light about the topic- breaking down osteoporosis.

I am really scared about bone loss because I found out that osteoporosis manifests no signs or symptoms until a fracture occurs.Knowing that, I now drink milk twice daily. 

Osteoporosis- dubbed as the silent disease almost always leads to irreparable damage or even fatality if not addressed early on.

It's AC birthday and DH and I were lucky to have been invited to eat dinner with her family in Circles, Shangri- la Makati. We tried almost everything but I can't really help and compare it with Spiral, Hotel Sofitel.

When I asked if they have lamb, the server manning the grilling station got one under the table. I asked why was it not on display and he replied that not many were available. Funny thing was the mint sauce that goes with it was also hidden. Bad.Unlike in Spiral, the lamb is always on display and you can have as much mint as you want.
