I am addicted to Zumba! In fact, I am currently enrolled in one of the studios near my house. When I got an invite to attend a fitness event featuring a Zumba class, how can I say no?

Whole grain food, such as Nestle Fitnesse cereal makes you feel fuller longer because it is high in volume and low-calorie density. 

While waiting for the event to start, we were treated to a healthy breakfast courtesy of Nestle Fitnesse. Three choices were available- Low Fat Whole Grain Cereal, Fitnesse &  Fruit and Honey & Almond. The cereal was complemented by Nestle Low Fat 100% Fresh Cow's Milk and some dried fruits and nuts. This was a nice alternative to my usual bread with peanut butter breakfast ; p

Purina Beggin' Strips

Late last year my mom got a phone call asking if she has a dog. She remembered my Pomeranian, Precious!

She was asked a few questions about what her diet is like. What she wants and doesn't want to eat. Surely, my mom knows Precious' wants and needs. She is always with me when I bought her treats and dog food. I gave Precious the best ; ) Plus, my mom keeps treats in her house too!

And then a few days after Christmas, my mom got a Nestle Purina Package! Inside the cute cylinder is Precious' favorite treat Purina Beggin' Strips and a certificate for being the World's Greatest Dog!

This is so cute and I just have to get a photo. Precious, like her mom, sure knows how to pose!

I can't believe I was able to eat a whole bar of Nestle Crunch! As I am writing this post, I am thinking of one thing, and yes, it's Nestle Crunch! OMG! I better shape up!

I had two events that day. From Real Living Magazine book launching, I went straight to the Heaven ice cream event. Although the event was a bit delayed, the production number was spectacular with angels doing trapeze. Four living statues were situated in four corners carrying the four delicious flavors of Heaven Ice cream! Amazed at the production value and presentation, I can't wait to try on their four latest ice cream flavors. Read below to see what favor is my favorite!

Since I have not been to Singapore, I didn't know that Ya Kun Kaya Toast is such a big hit in that country! Good thing, I don't have to fly to Singapore to taste the famous Kaya toast. Singapore's favorite coffee chain is now here! Opened just last December 10, 2009, Ya Kun Kaya has been visited by several bloggers already and some have even become loyal customers!

I was fortunate enough to be invited today by the owner of Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Richard Benson Co, to try out their delicious Kaya toast!

I dreaded that parking would be a problem since the location is in Ortigas Center but its not. There are a total of six parking spaces fronting the cafe. Customers from various offices in adjacent buildings usually walks in and take their orders to go. And they offer delivery too!

The small cafe matches the no-nonsense personality of the owner. There are several table outside for smokers. While outside is hot and humid, you can chill and relax inside browsing the internet. The cafe offers free wi-fi. 

Ya Kun Kaya Toast even adapted a menu for local consumption. Their set menu comprises of half and full set. The half set includes 1 slice of bread and 1 soft-boiled egg with hot coffee or tea while their full menu includes 2 slices of bread and 2 soft boiled eggs with your choice of hot coffee or tea.

I have requested for a demo on how their coffee/ tea is prepared- tarik (pulling).

A boring afternoon

I was so bored yesterday from watching youtube videos that I decided to eat Tostitos Restaurant Style tortilla chips dipped in Tostitos salsa. Hmmmm.... yum yum!

This combination reminds me of the chips and salsa from Chillis during my college days. Since I don't have much on my pocket, I usually order chips and salsa because it can be refilled once lol Sometimes I take out the refill and ask for extra salsa hehe

I have not gone back to Chillis in such a long time, I wonder if the restaurant still serves chips and salsa. Do you know?

No, hindi ako bumabalik sa pagkabata. I usually eat this whenever I feel the urge to eat snack in the afternoon. I like how this flavor tastes. There are other flavors but I don't like to try it. I think this is the safest choice. I love bananas and milk. How can you go wrong with banana and milk, right?

C got herself a new job!

Since C got a new job, she deserves her title back and be called AC lol Anyway, she owe me a dinner and a coffee to commemorate her new job. So, we ended up here. Initially, we were both thinking of Dezato Cafe but the place turned out full so we opted for the creamery.

Using AC's iPhone, these were our orders:

The sauce is too sweet. The veggies are all right. But don't expect a delicious serving of salad in this restaurant. It is an ice cream parlor after all.

This is AC's order also. The fish salpicao is diced into small, easy to chew pieces. A bit greasy.

The pork steak is my choice. Though small in size, I was not able to finish it. It was not bad but I am limiting myself into few bites these days. Plus, I get to take out the rest and give it to my dog lol

We ordered an Eskimo ice cream cake but we dig into it and forgot to take the picture haha A slice cost PhP95. So, you can imagine why I was not able to finish my entree. Who am I kidding? Between you and me... I am saving space in my stomach for the Eskimo!

I was expecting for a group dance number but until we went home, we didn't get a glimpse of the dance routine I so like! Maybe the management take it out of their routine. Sayang, they all groove well pa naman. Maybe I should request it next time?

After our tiring but worthwhile morning in Smokey Mountain, my friend, Cherie and I went to Nestle Creamery for lunch at 2pm hehe A bit late already, don't you think so? Because heavy rainfall equals traffic here in Manila.

Anyway, we entered the venue and there were diners already getting out of the venue. We have gotten a seat in one of their corner tables with cushioned seats. The place is colorful. A slide and small balls on inflatble were on the side where a couple of kids were playing. At the center is a bar where the juices and ice cream are made per order.
