Cynos Inside Hair care
Highlights on Heroes
The Cynos Hair Fashio Show
Manila Diamond hotel

I have attended several fashion shows in the past like Philippine Fashion Week but I have never attended a hair fashion show. When I received an e-vite from Cynos, I got intrigued so I immediately said YES!

Cynos Inside Hair Care

I thought that models with various hairstyles and hair colors will strut the runway but I was wrong. Well, we did see that plus more! We were presented with a different kind of show that night by some of the well-known salon owners that we have today - Tinette Ozamis-Puyat, Hanz Olivar and Alex Carbonell.

I can still feel the Jungle Fever! Wild, exotic, fun & captivating! These are the words I chose to describe Ipanema Fashion Show held last May 8 in Bonifacio High Street Activity Center.

 welcome to the jungle

The show dubbed as Urban Jungle Runway commemorates the newest store of Bambu located in Bonifacio High Street and the launching of Ipanema's newest flip-flop styles.

Philippine Fashion Week presents Ipanema Spring Summer 2011

My event: October 28, 2010

Ipanema presents Resort Wear Collection
Function Rooms 2 & 3
Philippine Fashion Week 2011
SMX Convention Center
Mall of Asia Complex
Pasay City

Last year, all I got was a sign up sheet for Philippine Fashion Week. Sadly, I was not able to attend to any one of the events. Friends of mine would know just how directionless I am. Night Event + Far = No intention of attending alone.

But this year it's different, I got a personal invite from ELRO, exclusive distributor of Ipanema and DH was willing to drive coming from the office. I have to let you in on a secret, DH has to be the one behind the lens so every photos appearing on this post was from his camera lens.

We were there a few minutes before 6pm. And the line was already quite long. I was given a bleacher seat and had doubt how DH can take a good photo from that spot. DH even muttered "You are not famous that's why you get that seat." Of course, he was kidding or was he not? I don't know. Good thing, I saw Tetcha who was on her way to the long queue along with her sister. She escorted me to another booth were Cel Mabalot was stationed. She handed a green circle sticker which I sticked on my blouse. Green Circle Stickers= First Row Seats!!!

L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5

Yeah, I know there's only 3! I don't need the complete line of L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 to salvage my damaged hair haha Kidding aside, after Mikki Galang of L'Oreal Philippines handed out gift boxes with L'Oreal products, I didn't bother to look inside until I was already home. Thus, the incomplete set. But don't fret, the set I got was enough to manage my once-curly-now-damaged-hair.

L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo, Repairing Conditioner and Night Essence Leave In

Case in point, my mom was bugging me to get a hair cut since I can't remember when. Oh,  I remember, since my hair lost its curls. I have thought of chopping my hair but then I thought that I would not look sultry much plus the chubby cheeks haha Then I started sporting side braids and bun. Just look at my picture in previous posts here and here. It's a phase, you know.  And then one day, boom, she asked "Nagpagupit ka ba?" Naks, that's when it occured to me that I used L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Night Essence Leave In the night before.

Behind the Scenes: Rhett Eala 2010

Philippine map on Mother of Pearl only from Jewelmer

I sport this jewelry from Jewelmer almost everyday. I am most specially proud when I partner it with my Proud Pinay shirt ;p

Rhett Eala celebrating 20 years!

My event: October 5, 2010

Whitespace
2314 Chino Roces Ave. Extension,
Makati City

The invite states 6pm. A few minutes before 6pm, I was already there but a courteous parking attendant wouldn't let me park inside instead he pointed street parking to me where numerous policemen in motorcycle facilitated the parking. A few minutes before the show begins, I know why.

with Jacques Christophe Branellec of Jewelmer and Rhett Eala

It was my second time to meet Jacques of Jewelmer. He is as nice as ever. Rhett Eala gave in for a photo op request. He is a very humble guy.

outfit of the night

I chose my new Mango dress as my outfit of the night. I pulled back my hair so you can see the chest detail of the dress. But I choose to let my hair down for the event itself.

Blogger Event: BUM Equipment Collar- Ups Collection

My event: June 22, 2010

BUM Equipment Blogger's Night
Columbus Hall 42nd Flr.
Discovery Suites
25 ADB Ave. Ortigas Center, Pasig City

It was a surprise for me to see BUM Equipment hosting the fashion show, the invite didn't state the brand name of the clothing company.
BUM Equipment is getting edgier and trendier with their latest collections called Collar- Ups and Goth.
DH is a metrosexual/fashionista. He is always in the know. And I though DH was just being his wacky self when I saw him with his collar up in one of our dates. I even kidded him that he looked Japanese and he seemed please with my comment lol I was not able to take a picture though ; (

Tokyo POSH Nijikai Launch at The Rockwell Club

Blogger Event: June 2, 2010

Tokyo POSH Nijikai Launch
Hair Talk
Blue Shades, Rockwell Club

I first met Denise Aquino when I attended MEGA Magazine's launching at Rustan's last March 2010 where I get to try Tokyo POSH's clip on hair extension

With Tokyo P.O.S.H.'s recent transfer from a Supercenter to a Power Plant Mall, it is but right to have a kick off party! Although I was not expecting it to be too humid that night, the event was held outdoor, I was glad that it didn't rain. I think Denise have the same scenario in mind too. A portion was covered but guests could still hang out and mingle under the stars too!
