Masatami Shave Ice in Robinsons Galleria

April 29, 2012

Masatami Shave Ice

Robinsons Galleria

When I received several gift certificates from Masatami Shave Ice, I was delighted because I like eating flavored shave ice. I came to know about shave ice when I visited Taipei a couple of years back.

I was given two kinds of gift certificates-Rainbow Hawaiian Shave Ice-The Works and Flavored Shave Ice.

The Works includes snow cap (condense milk), azuki beans and vanilla ice cream while the Flavored Shave Ice has azuki beans, pearls and nata de coco.

My first Aerosoles: Younique Black Snake

I live and breathe in flats, ok, mostly in flip flops! Come to think of it, except for a wedge sandals, I only have 3 high heeled shoes- one in black, gold and silver. I use these 3 alternately when I attend social events and other gatherings that needed some dressing up.

The following are the reasons why I don't buy high heeled shoes: One, the steep price that I have to pay. Two, the pain I have to endure the moment I step out of the shoes.

When I received a PhP2000 Rustan's Gift Certificate, I immediately thought of buying FitFlops. Yes, another tsinelas! Why not? I like to be comfortable when I go out rather than feeling my feet hurt after hours of using it.

Aerosoles Younique Black Snake PhP3650

But my plan has changed when I went to Rustan's Makati last Sunday. When I saw Aerosoles Younique Black Snake on display, it was not that appealing to me. In fact, it was the last pair that I tried on. But upon the prodding of my mom and seeing how good it looks on my feet, I now own my very first pair of Aerosoles.

This pair of shoes is so comfortable to begin with because of its rubber cushion that touches the soles of my feet. I like its strappy design. It is very sexy, stylish and elegant too. I still don't want to pay for expensive shoes so I will not buy it if I didn't have the gift certificate with me. But just the same, I am glad that I have this new shoes with me that I can sashay in for my next event lol

All in a day's work 2!

For the past two weeks, I've been busy accepting calls from different agents. The agent needs my opinion and in return I get paid. The payments are in the form of GCs and cash. I love GCs but I need cash lol

GCs and prizes from Northern Living magazine

I already spent my Sodexho GCs on my contact lenses today. Ideal Vision Center accepts it and all SM branches. I have not touched my Rustan's GCs though. I still don't know what to buy. So I am keeping it. DH's birthday is coming up in October so I might spend it on his gift. I got the Red Ribbon's GC from its blogger event. I am very happy. The cash all went to my bank account lol

raffle prize from Hinge Inquirer

I faxed a survey form of Northern Living magazine, a sister publication of the Inquirer newspaper some time ago. Surprisingly, I got an email over a week ago telling me that I won its raffle. The prizes are from The Body Shop- a 4 g. lipstick and a 10 ml. super volume mascara in color blue! The price of each is PhP695. Not bad huh! How's that for a day's work?

Shout out to CML for accompanying me in getting my prize from Hinge Inquirer.

All in a day's work!

My visit: July 13, 2009

Astoria Plaza
J. Escriva Drive,
Ortigas Business District, Pasig City
6871111

I received a phone call from an agent asking if I want to join on a group discussion that was being conducted by TNS (Taylor Nelson Sofres) Philippines for a hair care product.

There were two phone calls and each one would pry on your lifestyle. The first phone caller asked how frequent I visited a parlor. They were looking for high end clientele, I supposed. Questions like: married or single, working or not amongst other questions. The second one is more intimidating like how many air conditioners you have in your house and how many cars do you have and when was the latest acquired.

After that, the caller gave me an address and told me to be there around three in the afternoon. Food will be served and a token for our time will be distributed after the discussion.

The round table discussion started at four in the afternoon after they served us merienda of pasta with bread and a glass of iced tea in the coffee shop. The discussion revolves around 8 of us and 1 moderator captured by 2 tape recorder and a video camera. After more than an hour of discussing about hair products such as shampoo, conditioner and hair color, the product was unveiled to us. It was Pureology, an organic, 100% vegan hair color protect product line.

After smelling the product and giving some of the variants thumbs up we ended the discussion as to who could represent Pureology. We had a "serious" discussion this time lol

rustan's gift certificates

With two and a half grueling hours, at last, the gift certificates from Rustan's were given out. It's all in a day's work lol I think I got my niche! I want to get used to this.
