Over a month ago, I was invited to the launching of BYS's Spring/Summer 2013 Forecast. BYS is the most extensive Australian beauty brand available in Australia, UK, Japan and now in the Philippines.

When I arrived at the venue, I saw several makeup sets on top of a table. Guests were encouraged to try out BYS' products, most of which were still sealed ; )

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart

I seldom buy anything on impulse but I find pink lipsticks irresistible. When I went to SM's 3 day sale last week, I bought several makeup products and that includes Revlon's New ColorBurst Lip Butter. It is not on sale but with SM Advantage card, it's 10% off when you pay between 10 a.m. to 12 n.n. Plus, I got an additional 5% off because my mom charged it to her BDO credit card with minimum purchase requirement of PhP5, 000. By the way, you can also opt to pay the charged amount in 3 monthly installments, 0% interest. How's that for fun shopping? lol

I was already waiting in line for my turn in one of the cashier counters in the makeup section when I saw Revlon's booth. Pressed for time, I asked the sales lady for a pink shade. I was given Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart. A swatch at the back of my hand revealed a cute shade of pink. Without even thinking twice, I got one.

Natural Moisturizing Color by LipIce

Lip Ice Color Lip balm is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 from Malaysia. I was aware about this brand because my sister is raving about it. But it was not until I attended an intimate blogger meeting that I got my hands on this cute slim stick. We used the lip balm to draw a star. I kept the product to try on my lips after the activity. I love the color combination of pink and gray on my eyes! It brings out the color of my contact lens. I use the Hello Kitty H&M eye palette that my sister gave to me from Hong Kong and Avon Kicked Up Coral on my lips.

Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm SPF 15

Alright, you guys, I'm so excited to share my latest pucker up accessory... it's Carmex! I first heard about it during my interview with Tweetie de Leon- Gonzales and then from Andi Eigenmann. It was at that same time, the good people at Carmex sent a couple of samples over to my house.

Guess what? Among all the samples sent, I immediately opened the Strawberry flavored one! At first, I was turned off by the strong scent which I think turned out to be camphor and then came the stinging sensation brought about by the menthol. But after a few seconds or so, I love how it moisturizes my lips. It lasted longer than I thought, for more than 6 hours, in one application! I found truth in advertising in its box/label that says long lasting relief for dry chapped lips. It also has a patented Click Stick Movement Control Technology- you will hear a clicking sound when you turn the bottom part to raise the lip balm up. The new Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm has Sunscreen SPF 15. Oh, and one good thing about this product is that it's not tested on animals. Carmex products are tested on family members instead lol

When Rowena got her loot- set of Avon Ultra Color Rich Mega Impact lipsticks, she read the colors one by one. When she mentioned the color Coral, my eyes brightened. I love to own an orange lipstick. She generously gave it to me saying she has pink undertone and the color orange does not suit her.
