I am so excited when I found out that Chic Nails Hand, Foot & Body Spa opened its third branch in Scout Tuazon in Quezon City. This newest branch is so near my place and I know I will be spending a lot of R&R in this quaint blue and white spa.

The day after the spa opened, I asked my friends to join me for a manicure/pedicure session after dinner. We were just in time, the spa closes at 10pm. We were there a little before 9 pm so we have approximately an hour left to pamper ourselves.

Last Saturday, mom and I went to Glamourous Nail Spa in Greenhills Town Center for a little pampering before the Chinese New Year begins. It's my first time to try their service but my mom is a regular client of the nail salon.

Mom said that this nail salon is usually full especially on weekends but I took a chance and dropped by without an appointment ; p Surprisingly, there was only one other client. We were lucky that they were able to accommodate both of us. 

Since green is the lucky color this year of the Water Snake, I went for Sparitual's Rhythm Of Life with Orly's Mermaid Tale on top. Read more about my pampering experience after the break...

Veda Spa in Anvaya Cove on a gloomy day!

Drenched! That is the best word that I can think of to describe my first day in Anvaya because it was raining the whole day. But my friends and I didn't mind the gloomy weather, after all, we were there to have a relaxing vacation.

Two of my friends and I decided to have a massage after dinner in Veda Spa- the in- center spa facility of Anvaya Cove. We scheduled it around 8:30 pm. We were advised to go to the center fifteen minutes prior to the appointed time to register, change clothing and relax prior to the treatment.

I have been seeing people with "crack" or "shatter" nail polish for quite some time now. When I was in a nail salon a few weeks back, I saw OPI Nail Polish in Black Shatter and pointed it out to my friends. My friends availed the cracked nail polish for an additional PhP100. It was my brother who can't stop raving about H Cuisine. Coming from a restaurant owner himself, I thought this restaurant must be offering something really good. I was with my family when I first tried this restaurant. I know I am bound to come back.

I have been back twice since he first texted DH and I. My brother was raving about how tender the angus beef belly and I could not agree more! The second time, I brought two of my closest friends in college with me.

Along with the Angus beef belly, there were string beans, corn and carrots on one side and baby potatoes on the other neatly placed on a white plate elevated on top of a rack with a lit tea light candle in the bottom to keep the dish warm. Personally, I don't think that it does the job but it is more for presentation.

If you are in a group of 2 to 3 pax, order the To Share portion for only PhP428 without rice.

I was invited by Michelle for a pampering day last Thursday. Who am I to say no? I normally don't make any commitments on a Thursday- coding kasi! But for this one time, I made an exception specially since I have been raring to do it for awhile. Ok, even before I left for Hong Kong and that was almost month ago lol 

*now I really feel like a cougar... rawr!

It was an intimate gathering as only four of us were present- Michelle, Angela, Patricia Bermudez and I. Nonetheless, we had fun throughout the afternoon.

I am happy to say that I found the perfect gold color nail polish through Cozy Nail Lounge's wide range of ORLY nail lacquers. I really, really love it! Too bad it is limited edition and I can't find one anywhere else ; (
