Zoya the Healthy New Color of Fashion is now in Manila!

I was back in the grind yesterday. I attended an intimate event- the launching of Zoya nail polish here in the Philippines.

Zoya, dubbed as the healthy new color of fashion, has over 300 colors to choose from. The Philippine official distributor, Top That Corp., carries 270 of them. Not bad, right?

Part of Spring 2013 collection called Lovely, Zoya Gie Gie is a blushing cherry blossom pink metallic. 

For a change, I chose a subtle color like pink. Now that I have a baby, I think I have to tone down my choice of colors lol Surprisingly, the light pink color looks good on me. It looks clean and, uh, polished.

I was informed that Zoya is the longest wearing natural nail polish. Let's see if it will last until my party this coming Saturday. By the way, the photo was taken on Day 2, no chip yet whatsoever. It looks promising, let's wait and see ; )

I just want to share with you an outfit post. I know, right? It has been awhile. After feeling fat and horrible from what I ate last holiday, I finally have the guts to take some photos hahaha

Anyway, before I show you my OOTD, let me share with you what I ate during the launching of United Colors of Benetton Body Mists collection. As I wrote in my previous entry, the venue was at Early Bird Breakfast Club where you can have breakfast all day, everyday of the week! I was at Fort Pointe 2 twice in one week! First for Samsung Galaxy SIII and then for UCB ; p

First, I commend this restaurant for its food presentation. Tara of Chronicles of Vanity and I shared all dishes that are featured here. The picture you see above was actually just half of the dish but look at how it was presented, di ba? It was so nice pa din ; )

I thought that since we were splitting this dish into two, we would each have a few quantity of Spanish chorizo but on the contrary, I think there were five or more chorizos on my plate alone. The restaurant doesn't scrimp on its ingredients. I especially liked the Parmesan Cheese on top ; ) Eat this dish while it's warm.

I was invited by Michelle for a pampering day last Thursday. Who am I to say no? I normally don't make any commitments on a Thursday- coding kasi! But for this one time, I made an exception specially since I have been raring to do it for awhile. Ok, even before I left for Hong Kong and that was almost month ago lol 

*now I really feel like a cougar... rawr!

It was an intimate gathering as only four of us were present- Michelle, Angela, Patricia Bermudez and I. Nonetheless, we had fun throughout the afternoon.

Sunsilk inspired Nail Art!

I know this is a bit late because it's Monday already. I have been a working girl for the past couple of weeks so I was not able to fulfill a change of polish every Thursday.

So, anyway, while waiting for my family to pick me up on a Sunday afternoon, I got 30 minutes to spare. I took out my nail polish kit and made this new nail art creation inspired by Sunsilk Co- Creation Damage Repair shampoo!

Looking through aisle and aisle of clothes, shoes and what not, I found a stall selling Kanebo products. Kanebo is a brand I heart!

The color Yellow and Cory

Since ex- President Cory Aquino died early morning last Saturday, DH and I want to share the grief of her family and the entire Filipino nation by wearing a Yellow the next day. As I rummage through my closet, I found out that I only have 1 decent yellow piece and it's not even a shirt lol But I am happy to wear it over a white polo shirt that day to show respect for the woman who restore democracy in this country.
