FREE The Body Shop Love Your Body Rewards Card!

I got my very own Love Your Body Rewards Card from The Body Shop. I used to just borrow my mom's LYB card if I wanted discounts on my purchases but not anymore. Earlier today, I was in The Body Shop SM Megamall looking for a liquid hand wash. The sales lady told me about so many irresistible offers - Buy 1 at 20% off, Buy 2 at 30% off, Buy 3 at 40% off and Buy 4 at 50% off!

The card has a total of PhP 1,470 voucher inside. You can use these vouchers upon collecting the required number of stamps that you get with a minimum of PhP 900 purchase.

New Find: Magnolia Flavor House in Robinsons Magnolia

August 14, 2012

Magnolia Flavor House
Robinsons Magnolia
Aurora Blvd. cor Hemady Ave.,
Quezon City

It was Tuesday night when my friend and I went to the newest shopping destination in Quezon City - Robinsons Magnolia! The mall opened a day before but it has already created so much hype. My Facebook wall and Twitter were filled with posts about it. We have to see for ourselves!

Banana Split (mango, chocolate & strawberry) PhP 240

True enough, it was way better than we have expected. Aside from Robinsons Department store and other high end brands, Magnolia Flavor House, my favorite ice cream house, is back! It is located in al fresco area together with soon to open Starbucks -yey!

We ordered one of the classic - Banana Split. An order consists of 3 ice cream flavors of your own choosing, frozen chocolate-dipped banana, sprinkled with candies, marshmallows and nuts then topped with whipped cream, cherry and chocolate syrup. Sinful, isn't it?

Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy

My mom has Crabtree and Evelyn privilege card so we were able to shop at discounted price when we drop by their store in Shangri-la Plaza Mall last Sunday.

Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy 100g
 PhP 1,150 PhP805

My mom, sister and I bought different hand therapy lotions. I chose Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender Ultra-moisturizing Hand Therapy. It is a part of the Hand Care Collection. I like the smooth and powdery feel of my hands immediately after applying it. I love lotions in general so I got myself the biggest tube (100g). There is also a smaller tube - 50g worth PhP 750 that you can carry with you in your bag.

Korea Chronicle: Myeongdong

My visit: December 30, 2011

Day 8 (3rd day DIY Seoul Tour)

Myeongdong
Seoul, Korea

A few days before, I was disappointed when we visited Dongdaemun with our tour group as part of our itinerary. It is much like an open air market place. The place is huge, there is one area that sold meat, an alley that sold cameras and another that sold dry goods. During winter, you can't possibly stay outdoors long enough without getting chills. Needless to say, during our DIY tour, we never went back ; p We choose to visit Myeongdong instead.

Myeongdong is big too. Sure, some wares are also peddled on the streets but at least here, you can go inside a department store or in my case beauty stores whenever I felt shivers because of the cold.

Shopping Spree: Taipei!

DAY 1

Whenever I go out of the country, I make sure to search for the best place to shop for inexpensive buys or cheap thrills lol

Since it's not the first time that I have been to Taipei, I know where to go and find a good deal. I am a cheapskate afterall!

Here is a rundown of some of the items I bought during my entire Taipei stay. I will add more pictures as I continue my Taipei Chronicle.

shoes price from NTD199-390

This time I hoarded on shoes! I can't believe that I can buy so much shoes during our 5 day trip. If you are reading my blog, you have to know how I really suck at finding shoes that fits me well. And even if I found the right pair, this happen. I always shop at the underground stores like MIKI in Taipei Main station. The store has a separate shoes and clothing stores and has several branches throughout the entire stretch of the Underground Mall.

Glass Pendant

I went to Chinatown district in Singapore on my last day of vacation. And I shop till I drop lol This is also the reason behind my horrific experience on the plane.

Universal Studios Singapore keychain

It was during my second day in Singapore when I was able to visit Universal Studios. Now I don't really plan on going to Universal Studios because I am not fond of thrill seeking rides... think Revenge of the Mummy. Plus, I have already been to Universal Studios Hollywood. But DH insisted that I have to go with my friends. On the bright side, I did shop for a Betty Boop gray shirt and 2 keychains lol And had so much fun, lining up to have my picture taken with Universal Studios mascots! S$66 was not such a waste at all lol

Betty Boop in soft enamel keychain S$ 7.90

I remember during elementary days, Betty Boop became such a huge hit among the girls in my school. My mom got me a Betty Boop metal lunch box from Hong Kong. I have to take a picture of it because I know I still have it somewhere hehe

I bought this Betty Boop keychain in Silver Screen Collectibles! There are so many designs to choose from and I settled for this. AC and I have exactly the same keychain.

Lululemon= Yoga

Since I got into yoga, I often see cute little tag on some yoga attire of students especially the good, old *ahem* advance ones. Later on, I learned that Lululemon is the adidas in yoga hehe

So, when I went to Canada, I thought I could have one of those cute attires. Lululemon incidentally is a product of Canada. Sad to say, I couldn't afford the outfits *geez* even those that are on sale. I saw cute tops on sale but most are broken sizes and priced at USD 30 and above. Needless to say, crop pants were also out of the question because crop pant's price scare the hell out of me haha with price ranging from USD 40 and above. Discounts given were minimal (only a few dollars). And from what I'vve read in forums., when they conduct a once a year sale, lines where as far as the eyes can see. Lululemon sure have a huge fan base and have the money to splurge for its product.
