Last Sunday, my family and I traveled from SM Mall Of Asia to Greenbelt 3 just to get our hands on J.CO Donuts & Coffee. In SM MOA, the line going inside J.CO store is super long, extending outside the store. In the hope of tasting the various drinks from J.CO, my DS drove to Greenbelt 3. Crazy, huh? But it's worth the trip!

DS ordered Hot Jcoccino. It's cappuccino - J.Co style! It's a blend of bold Italian espresso and milk topped with a masterfully-crafted foam art.

Just so you know, J.CO is not only a donut store. It also offers a wide array of unique beverage concoction. Like its donuts, J.CO beverages are uniquely crafted beyond our imagination.

Thanks to Vogue Concepts, Inc., Ever New Melbourne also known globally as Forever New is now in Manila! Forever New was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2006. Today, it has over 160 stores in China, Turkey, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Singapore and even in the United States.

After launching its flagship store in Bonifacio High Street last May 2012, Ever New will have another branch in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell come September. Yey!

I was not kidding when I told you that I was in Robinsons Magnolia every other day in my previous entry ; p I was in Magnolia Flavor House on Tuesday night, Adobo Connection on Thursday afternoon and for my Saturday date night, DH and I dined in Buffet 101 before watching last full show of The Expendables at 10 pm ; )

We went back to Buffet 101 the week after to celebrate my nephew's birthday ; ) Even though the restaurant is still in its soft opening phase, the service on both occasion is commendable.

I admit, since Robinsons Magnolia opened, I visited it almost every other day ; p I know some people who go there almost every day, making it their second home lol

Not all boutiques are open but most of the restaurants are fully operational. With shopping out of the question, I focus on food. My first food trip was on a Tuesday night in Magnolia Flavor House with my good friend AC. By Thursday, I was back with my parents. We were tossing between Pepper Lunch and Adobo Connection. The later won because we saw a long line of people which might be a good indication of good food to come.

Adobo Connection offers home-cooked adobo in not just one but several variations. To distinguished one from the other, the company added family members' name such as Mama and Kuya on items found on the menu. 

Kuya's Fried Mixed Adobo is a mix of chicken and pork adobo. It takes a lot of getting used to because I like my adobo with sauce ; p Both my mom and I liked the toasted garlic sprinkled on top.

It was Tuesday night when my friend and I went to the newest shopping destination in Quezon City - Robinsons Magnolia! The mall opened a day before but it has already created so much hype. My Facebook wall and Twitter were filled with posts about it. We have to see for ourselves!

True enough, it was way better than we have expected. Aside from Robinsons Department store and other high end brands, Magnolia Flavor House, my favorite ice cream house, is back! It is located in al fresco area together with soon to open Starbucks -yey!

We ordered one of the classic - Banana Split. An order consists of 3 ice cream flavors of your own choosing, frozen chocolate-dipped banana, sprinkled with candies, marshmallows and nuts then topped with whipped cream, cherry and chocolate syrup. Sinful, isn't it?

Chow Fun: Coffee Beef Hotpot & More!

Right after my Tinette & Co. salon experience, my parents and I went straight to Chow Fun for merienda. By the time we got there, it was already close to 6pm. But as luck would have it, we were able to park right in front of the restaurant. I don't know if they have any other parking space provided for other diners but if you are familiar with the former location of Mann Hann, that's where Chow Fun is located.

Since my parents said it's still early for dinner, we only ordered 2 main dishes- Coffee Beef Hotpot & Mapo Tofu and one order of Lechon Macau Buns. We were the only ones dining that might explain why the orders came in succession but I was glad the kitchen didn't made me wait for so long, plus one point! 

Anyway, for the price of Coffee Beef hotpot, I think the serving is quite small. I don't mind paying for more so long as you can make this dish larger ; p This dish is best paired with rice because the flavor is too strong / concentrated. Do not get me wrong, I love this dish and I would recommend it you, my dear readers ; p If your concern is the beef, it was tender and not chewy, just the way I like it!

It seems to me that every food blogger has already blogged about Yabu, The House of Katsu except me hahaha It was during the beginning of the habagat (monsoon) week when I had the chance to go to SM Megamall. There was no traffic going to SM because some of the schools have already suspended classes that day. As usual, I was with my parents. Came lunch time, I told them we were going to pay Yabu The House of Katsu a visit ; p

Katsu is an abbreviation of the word "katsuretsu" meaning "cutlet". It generally refers to a sliced piece of meat that is breaded and deep-fried. The dish was introduced to Japanese culture in the late 19th century during the Meiji period, when Japan opened its doors to the West. In the beginning, beef cutlets were used, but pork eventually became the more popular choice of meat by 1900s, giving rise to dishes such as tonkatsu ("ton" is Japanese for "pork"). 

Perusing the menu, I found the dishes a bit pricey and of limited variety. Paying a minimum of PhP 300 per dish is a bit too much for me because it's just deep-fried food.

Some time ago, I wrote about pure DKNY a drop of verbena. Every time I go out of the house, I spray it once on my wrist and somewhere in between my neck and collarbone. It was no denying that I have found my distinct scent. The scent spelled F-R-E-S-H and I own it!

About a week ago, another bottle of scent spray was sent over by my friends from Aramis Designer Fragrances (ADF). This time it's a 50 ml bottle of pureDKNY Vanilla. 

At first glance, the packaging is almost the same as verbena. The glass is inspired by a raindrop - all curves and no hard edges. It is 100% recyclable. The bottle cap is 100% recyclable high quality aluminum. The carton is printed with lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) inks and made from Certified Forest paper. The difference lies in the color of the bottle cap and the background color on the label.

A few weeks ago, I was with a friend of mine excitedly waiting for the doors of Trinoma to open. Yes, we were there a little before 10 am on a Saturday to avoid the crowd and other bargain hunters like me lol

This post is about letting you know why Greenwich is better than any other. All these were introduced to us during the media event held in SM Megatrade Hall last Thursday.
