The make over was not planned. My mom and I always make sure to pass by the Kanebo counter to inquire when the next SM 3 day sale would be. The ever pleasing Leslie was at the counter and she warmly greeted us and answer our questions about the sunblocks available.

Primer Annual Bodega Sale

Binondo
My BFF and I were at the State Center around 11am for the Primer Annual sale. I was really looking forward to buy my first pair of Sanuk because I know that's it's on 50% off. I don't really like it but if its on sale and if the shoe fits, I might change my mind ; p

Training Video Shoot... an experience!
I was invited by my friend, KC, for a training video shoot. Basically, it's an improvement to the storyboard that I am used to because animation will be added during post production. Correct me if I am wrong, story boards are used as a guide for the client to visualized the campaign that the agency is trying to deliver.

If you are in my age group, you probably would have heard of Barrio Fiesta, a restaurant frequented by families when special occasions arises. Now, three generations later, brothers Tyrone and Tristan Ongpauco decided to create a bistro style restaurant located in San Miguel by the Bay called IBAYO. Ibayo is a local term for "the next town". The restaurant wanted to have a signature of its own yet it also wanted to retain its classic favorite. Thus, making this a classic Filipino dining experience with a modern twist!
Last Wednesday, I was one of the bloggers who, luckily, was invited to taste Ibayo.
Here are the feast that fellow bloggers and I were able to partake of:
Ibayo Firesticks
This appetizer was served first and it's really good! I love the cheese and the "hot" sauce combined!

Whenever there is a new restaurant sprouting in Banawe area, you can be sure that it will be caught by DH's eagle eye. He made sure that we will dine in Chicken Charlie once it's construction is finished.
And so last Saturday, after having lunch at the newly opened Icebergs, we went to Chicken Charlie for dinner.
It's quite a small restaurant that can seat approximately 10 people. There are pictures on the wall that could entice you to order more and that's what we did!

Yey! Finally, Icebergs is now back in Banawe. Last Saturday, we ate there before going to our office.
Over a week ago, DH told me that he saw new models of air cooler by Honeywell. Little did I know that he already bought a unit last Wednesday.
Honeywell portable evaporative air cooler CL30XC PhP9, 800
On our initial use, the room was filled with the smell of plastic. I could hardly breathe. Apparently, the air cooler emits the odor. The next day, DH decided to change the water. The water was colored yellow/green...yikes! Good thing, the odor is gone now.
We attended the wedding of DH's cousin last Sunday, July 11, 2010. So many bottle of wines were left over. I thought that maybe the waiters will just be throwing them away. I collected a few, washed and removed the labels and voila! I turned the empty bottles of wine into vases! After all why throw away a AUD300 bottle of wine lol

My husband was lucky enough to be invited to the 10th year anniversary celebration of Terumo Philippines last July 6 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. After the toast and dinner, each of the 200 guests or so were given a Terumo Digital Blood Pressure Monitor ES-P2100!
narra/kamagong sideboard PhP19, 000
Ever wonder why DH and I kept on going back to Market! Market!? Because of the furniture being sold there. DH wanted to add more furnishings to our house and we spent 2 straight days in Market! Market! Saturday, we bargained, and I mean really bargained for the sideboard above from PhP25, 000 to PhP19, 000. Sunday, we picked it up and bought a pair of fish lamps and the elephant pictured below inside Metro Gaisano Department store.

Call it gut feeling, I went inside Yoshinoya's Grenhills branch without any coupon and asked if they have a Buy1 Take 1 promo that day. Luckily, they do! And even without a coupon on hand, they let me avail of the promo and was given numerous coupon after my order transaction lol You get a PhP115 saving!

Celeteque Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer vs Celeteque Facial Moisturizer
I have been using Celeteque brand for quite some time now. I am alternately using Celeteque facial wash with Dove facial foam wash right now. One (Dove) was beside the sink and the other (Celeteque) inside my shower area.

A few Saturdays ago, DH and I have weaved through the side streets of Tomas Morato. We would have opted to dine buffet style in Yakimix. But as usual, Yakimix couldn't entertain walk in customers as early as 5:45pm as they were already full house! We were almost certain that we would end up eating in Iceberg's because we have already given up with the seemingly lack of choices on where to eat in Tomas Morato. When DH suddenly saw the Rocksalt sign. Right then and there, he decided that we should eat there.

I found this indoor plant in Market! Market! The seller gave me the name of this plant but due to memory gap I forgot its name lol All I remember is that it starts with the letter A. Go figure!

Alas! I was walking in Greenhills Shopping Center awhile ago and I found this exact same plant. This time though I wrote down the name of the plant. The name is Anthurium Renaissance.

Tatami Japanese Restaurant
C116 G/F Serendra Building
Fort Bonifacio,
Taguig City
DH and I both love Japanese food! Entering this establishment reminded me of another Japanese restaurant in Trinoma Mall, Haiku. It turned out I was right because they belong to one mother company. What gave me the feeling is the interior and the menu particularly the fruit shake I ordered from Haiku, watermelon-melon shake haha Read my entry about it here.
Now that I am reviewing my blog post on Haiku, it's déjà vu- we ordered the exact same thing lol Well, except for the ebi sushi, DH didn't order that. And I sure do not want to order another watermelon-melon shake. Even after two years, I can still hear the waiter's voice lol

I noticed that my mom hardly put on make up these days, one time, I complimented her because her skin was so radiant even without make up on. I learned that she only used The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost as base before applying moisturizer and sunblock that day.

I swear by Sally Hansen Hair Remover Lotion. It was introduced by my DS to me a couple of years back and has since been using it.
I saw my mom using Pond's Cold Cream on her face to remove make up residue while growing up. And now, even with various make up remover in the market, I stick with Pond's because it's already tried and tested by my mom. I don't know why Pond's doesn't market it as a make up remover though. But I can tell you this, it can double as one. It deeply cleanses and removes make up residue.

Flawless billboard latest ad
Can you spot Lorna T? The picture looks more like Ruffa Gutierrez.
And the LV hand bag is now gone as seen in the latest ad (first picture). The second picture was first released. It seems to me that Louis Vuitton and Flawless had a misunderstanding that Flawless opted to take out the photo of the much coveted prize as shown in the first picture.
